Going on 7 years....
I have owned this watch for almost 7 years as of the date of this review. I didn't buy it for any of the functions, but for the look only. It is a beautiful watch! I continue to get compliments on it. After all this time, it still looks as nice as the day I received. There has been zero maintenance. I own about 20 watches. As the batteries die, I let them sit until I have a number of them needing to be replaced. Most of the 20 are dead now, but since this one has always been one of my favorites and continues to go strong, I continue to wear it and let the others sit. I haven't experienced any issues with the time or seconds dial. Changing the date when the month is 28 or 30 days is the only "maintenance" in 7 years! I have more than gotten my money's worth on this purchase.

Nice looking pilot watch
A nice looking aviation watch, the black band stripe makes it look good on the wrist. Band links were easily removed to make it a perfect fit. The circular cursor is a bit stiff, hoping it will free up with use. The accompanying manual said it had a crown seal screw, mine doesn't appear to either have one or is inoperative, I don't go swimming so it doesn't matter all that to me. Keeping good time.

Excellent quality watch
A very high quality and solidly built watch with a real crystal (not plastic) face good to a depth of 100M. I highly recommend this watch except in the case where it might bother you reading very small numbers.I love this watch. I bought it because of the good price (Approx $69 + shipping) and the flight calculator. The Flight calculator is actually a standard circular slide rule with additional markings for common aeronautical conversions and calculations. One thing that is a tad irritating is that all the functionality that packed into this watch forces Most of the labels and indicators to be extremely small. Not so good when your sight is getting weak like mine.Actually, the markings for the hours 10, 2, 4 and 8 are quite large, so reading time isn't all that difficult even with my eyesight. The watch only came with a generic Pulsar watch instruction manual which did not cover all of the additional functionality of the watch. (i.e Setting the date, setting the alarm, resetting the stop watch hands to top dead center, etc) and all of the little things that you can do with the watch.Anyway, you have to copy the number from off of the back of the watch in my case was 7T62 and use that at pulsarwatches-europe.com to find the manual that actually applies to the watch. There is no documentation to explain how to use the flight computer. To learn how to use that probably best to find you a manual for a Jeppesen Flight Computer and get a good magnifying glass. :)I've only had it a month and its only lost 2 seconds, but that could also be me not matching it to the atomic clock correctly in the first place. Still that is better accuracy than my last Casio Dataman digital watch that would lose 15 seconds in a month.

Pulsar PF3183
The watch took a while to come even though it was suppose to have been sent the next day. It was nothing like what I saw in the store. The bezel around the watch is not moving as it should. So using the slide rule to calcualte anything is out of the question. The watch itself is tight to fit over ones hand. Trying to find anyone who has links or can add links in nearly impossible. The second hand is not realy a second hand but it goes to the stop watch, the real second hand is one of the smile hands on the face of the watch...takes some getting use to. Oh finally setting the date is a real chore. It doesn't go back so you have turn and turn the set knob until you get to the right date. Overall a very poorly designed watch for Sieko who is the parent of PULSAR brand of watches. Stay away go with a Citizen as you will be better off and pleased with the choice...unlike this one.

Horrible Paint Job.
The paint job on the watch band is discolored in many parts, and none of the joints are painted underneath. It looks like a child did the painting, very sloppy, and certainly not from a decent watch worth over $250. Very disappointed. This guy is on its way to return-land.

Got this for $75 beginning of year
So I would recommend you wait around until the price drops again. There are a lot of pilot watches out there so do your research. This watch is OK, if I had to pick again i'd get one with smaller numbers. My husband also doesnt use the features on the watch because its a pain to use.

Pulsar PF3183 Tech Gear Flight Computer Watch
The watch arrived promptly and in perfect condition. I have had it about 10 days but just got the chance to get the band sized (the jeweler removed 3 links). Now it fits perfectly. I love the look, weight and quality feel - and it is keeping perfect time. My only question at this point is whether this model has a screw down crown. I know some do and some don't and I want to make sure before I go into the water with it.

Pulsar Flight Computer watch
I am very pleased with this watch. One complaint has nothing to do with the watch, its quality, construction or functions. I found I had to Google for information on how to remove band links for correct fit. I thought this should have been in the instructions. The watch seemed fairly heavy when I picked it up but it rests to nicely on my wrist that I don't realize it is there. The styling is even better when you see it in person. I would easily recommend this watch.
