Looks and feels great! Functional, too
Looks pretty awesome on my 16" MBP. Appears to fit pretty well. Material is plastic but it feels premium - It's glossy and smooth on the translucent parts, and soft but solid on the opaque, bumper-like areas on the sides, that are likely to take the brunt of physical impact.Note that on the lower shell, the retaining "tabs" - the ones that sit even with the palmrest - are a little small, and so individually they don't hold very tightly. This means that if you grab the laptop by the edge and therefore press on one of these tabs, they'll start to come loose. They'll pop right back into place though; the bottom shell doesn't look like it's going to come off by any means. There are also many of these tabs, going all around the palmrest. Retention is good here.I'm not going to take off any stars for this, and I'll tell you why. First - you probably should not hold any laptop this way. Second - even if it were okay to hold a laptop as such, the rest of the bottom shell case holds on just fine. Also, the tabs in questions *need* to be small because they protrude slightly above and inward of the palmrest. If they were larger, you'd likely be running the palms/wrists/sides of your hands across them, painfully. They also would stand out visually in an unpleasant way, if they were taller or if they protruded farther inward. Some other cases (for other MacBook models at least) do have more pronounced retaining tabs that would make this less likely. They don't look as cool, though, and are kind of difficult to attach. This Supcase model, though, looks great, feels great, and is really easy to attach. I like it and would gladly buy it again.

Arrived quickly and as ordered. Fits well and does a good job of protecting your MacBook. Price was reasonable and quality is great. Strong plastic protects against scratching and other damage. Keep my laptop in a backpack with a lot of other devices. Don't have to worry about damaging it.

UPDATE: Excellent fit, gives MacBook nice, ruggedized look. *Starting to fail*
UPDATE: I've had the case about a year now. It's been holding up very well until recently I'm noticing now that two of the little tabs that hook the bottom of the chassis on the lower shell have sheared off and are no longer securing the front, right corner of the case to the laptop. I know I naturally put pressure on this point as I'm wresting my wrists and palms on the unit. Unfortunate though, after a few more tabs give way I assume the shell will no longer stay on securely to the bottom of the laptop.I didn't necessarily want a cover on my MacBook for similar reasons everyone else doesn't, it looks cool as is and is very slim and sleek by itself. However, my likeliness to damage or harm my MacBook compelled me to give it a try anyway. I've seen some cases and they look just plain stupid so I was a bit worried no matter what I tried I'd be unhappy. Thus far, I've been pretty satisfied with the choice of the Supcase. It obviously is going to add a bit of girth/bulkiness to the machine, however it gives it a rugged yet sleek look that doesn't completely hide the coolness of the MacBook. The venting is done very well to match up with the airflow from the Mac. The fit is fantastic, accounting for the hinge and all but still putting clips in key areas around the Mac to hold it securely in place. The cutouts around the USB-C ports is done well to allow for plugs that might be a little bulkier than the standard Apple cord. I would say my only complaint, it you could call it that is that the lid portion of the case is heavy enough that if you jerk the laptop forward or backward fast enough, the lid will move due to the weight of the case top. And when you go to close the lid, it doesn't take much force as the top cover is helping it close due to the weight. Don't think thats a big deal, just noticeably different from closing it with the case on vs without. I haven't returned it, so that's saying a lot since I'm pretty particular about fit and look.

NOPE!
This case is not as easily installed as described. The bottom easily pops right on, but the top seems too tight, especially around the corners. I was able to install the top, but I had to use more force than any other case I've ever purchased. I then later discovered the corners of the top had popped off again. The exterior is too slick. The clear and frosted exterior surfaces are too smooth, and seem to make it MORE difficult to securely grip than the bare exterior of the MacBook . Additionally the clear areas scuff quite easily. The bottom is depicted as having areas that suggest they are "feet." These "feet" are hard plastic and have absolutely no more grip or shock absorbency than any other area. Furthermore these feet are scratchy and uncomfortable on bare skin. The non-clear areas have a very thin coating that has a slightly textured rubbery feel which seems more decorative than functional.I have to question... exactly what military performance standards were used during testing to receive the designation of Military-Grade DROP PROTECTION?IMHO there are no areas of this case that could reasonably be interpreted as "shock absorbent.""Military-Grade DROP PROTECTION?" I seriously doubt it.This case will probably protect a MacBook from scratches, provided the case doesn't fall off. However suggesting it provides Military-Grade DROP PROTECTION seems to be stretching reality.IMHO this case provides no more practical protection than any other budget friendly hard plastic snap-on case.I don't like misleading advertisements. I don't like to be deceived. I don't like to waste my time.DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED!
