Travis Scott's debut studio album, "Rodeo", is a deep look into the depths of one of the most creative young minds in hip-hop. The album opens with "Pornography", a raucous anthem that appropriately kicks off the rodeo-esque attitude. "Nightcrawler" combines extremely talented production with energetic yet soothing vocals from Scott, as well as Swae Lee and Chief Keef. Quavo appears on "Oh My Dis Side", a two parted track where both pay tribute to their respective homes in a song that would become an instant classic. "90210" has proven to be one of Scott's greatest, and most popular songs of all time, telling the story of a magical one night stand. "Antidote", the lead single on the album, put Scott on the map, and the production alongside the iconic chorus has earned this track platinum status, four times. The list goes on and on, the album contains no songs that lack in any aspect of production, vocals, mixing or engineering. It seems every album I listen to I compare to the mastery of this one. "Rodeo" paved the way for Travis Scott to become one of the biggest names in rap, and is my personal favorite album of all time.

Travis Scott has been one of raps most polarizing figures since 2015, when he dropped his debut album, Rodeo. When I first listened to this project, I had mixed feelings. However, this album has really grown on me and just recently have I decided I should add it to my vinyl collection. What can I say about this record? Everything from the sound quality to the phenomenal and fun guest features to its fearless approach at experimenting with heavy vocals and instruments/instrumentals, this album has aged like fine wine. Even some joints that I did not really enjoy prior to re-listening have I now felt had a lasting effect on me, such as "Piss On Your Grave", "Pornography", "Nightcrawler", etc.) Packaged as a 2-disc LP, Rodeo features some of my favorite art from any record in my collection, from its front cover to its sleeve designs, which all but one feature an action figure version of Travis Scott. For people who buy records for the aesthetic vibe, this is a must-have. Don't let that sway your choice however. Travis Scott (real name Jacques Berman Webster II) put his heart and soul onto every piece of this project, and it really shines on vinyl. I own a AT LP-60 and it sounds terrific, and the bass really shines as well. Buy this record on vinyl. Enough said.

Came a day early which was great, but the jewel case is broken. The piece at the top broke off, and the case can’t close properly. The booklet and cd seems to be in perfect condition thankfully. - It’s really easy to just get a replacement case, so not totally a big deal. 4 stars

The greatest album of all time!

This album is overall just awesome. The package came in 4 days and was in mint condition as it was very well packaged. Unfortunately it is a single sleeve cover with two separate discs but thankfully they are protected by two laminated bonus covers for the album. The track list on this album is absolutely amazing including two massive songs being 90210 and Antidote. It offered a wide variety of emotions and vibes. while maintaining a similar and uniform sound for the entire album, Considering this album was initially released in 2015, it has aged so so well and is very appropriately placed in Travis's timeline in regards to his discography. The cover art for the album is so good and ICONIC, the other covers for the discs are also quite nice and suiting for the album, the sticker placement on the records is perfect and definitely adds a special touch to the appearance of the records. I would recommend this album to ALL Travis fans as it has an amazing and iconic selection of songs that will cater to hardcore fans and casual listeners. It is also just a beautiful addition to any collection. My one and ONLY gripe with this album is that there is a 20 second portion of Justin Biebers verse on "Maria I'm Drunk" but the album is just too damn good to drop to a 4 star.
