Good taste and quality pecan flour
I wanted to change the almond flour as I know pecan is a healthy nut. I made many cookies with this flour and they taste very good. It bakes like any other flour. Easy to use and good amount of flour comes in the bag. Can substitute this flour for any almond flour recipes.

Finely Pecan
I was looking for a fine grounded nut flour to make a pie crust and this product did well. I usually buy whole pecans and grind them myself but I end up with chunks. I opened the package and the pecan flour is fine and light. Perfect for crust making. No chunks to get wedged in between the teeth. The use of natural ingredients when it comes to creating healthy desserts is important to me. It keeps me working towards better health. If I'm going to be lazy then i might as well go back to purchasing packaged deserts that are too expensive or full of artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives. The taste is fresh and it taste like pecans. The texture is light like flour and it is easy to mix with other flours. The texture is most. One time I brought a product and the pecan flour was very dry. It was very disappointing. My experience with the organic pecan flour has been great. I added this to bread and soup. It is worth the price. I don't waste because I paid money this. I will use this product for preparing foods. The use is endless. Pecans generally have a sweet hearty flavor. How or why would you waste ? This a good product to use.

Great Product, Great Service!
This is a great product. I've purchased it locally (occasionally, when it is available locally--which is really hit and miss) and off of Amazon. I like how fresh it is from Amazon the best. Sometimes locally it isn't as fresh. I store extra in the freezer and this product in the fridge once it arrives. Never had a problem with it. Works great in all kinds of baking and other recipe applications. Excellent packaging, product, and service. Handy, convenient and tastes great too. The price is cheaper shipped from Amazon than driving to my local store to pick it up.

A gluten free resource—with added flavor.
I use a variety of nut flours in gluten free, nondairy cooking. While almond flour is a staple, the pecan flour adds a lot in terms of flavor and texture. Living with a limited diet need not be tasteless, flavorless, or lacking in nutrients. Pecan flour is a good option (unless you're allergic to tree nuts).

A low-carb replacement for wheat flour
Trying to cut back on carbs I tried pecan flour in making pie crust. The flour is a little gritty, which is ok in the pastry crust. After baking, the crust didn't hold together well, and we ended up just crumbling it in serving dishes and spooning the pie filling over it. Which nobody in my family minded at all. And the flavor was very nice and toasty. One of the articles I read about pecan flour said that it could be used for thickening sauces, like wheat flour, but this didn't work for me at all. But the pecan flour is lovely, and my daughter-in-law made some delightful cookies with it. I'm sure we will find other uses for it,

Great for keto friendly deep fried foods!
We are on the keto diet and were searching for a good replacement for fried breading for chicken, fish, etc. We finally hit on a GREAT substitute, which is as follows: 1 cup of nutritional yeast 1 cup of pecan flour a little salt and pepper egg wash Beat the eggs in a bowl, and mix the yeast, flour, salt, and pepper in a different bowl then spread on a plate. Dip your meat (like fish filet) in the egg wash, then press it into the dry mix, fully coating both sides. Then fry in 350 F oil until cooked through - for example, for 1/2 inch flounder filets they take about 5-6 minutes to fully cook in hot oil. We also use this flour to make keto-friendly cheesecake crust, where it's mixed with almond flour, butter, etc. We've already ordered a bunch more of this flour and are tearing through it, highly recommended!

Expensive byproduct
This is very finely ground pecan powder. It contains a lot of the skins so it is brown in color. We used it to get our pecan cookies to taste even more like pecan. If you love pecans you will enjoy this stuff. It's probably just the dust that gets produced when handling pecans, and they mark it up and sell it instead of throwing it away.

Not fresh!
Consistency was good, but not fresh. After 2 weeks or less (IN THE FRIDGE), it was smelling rancid. I should be able to keep it for a long time in a fridge. I keep most of my nuts in the fridge and they last a very long time. It's not cheap, so of course, I'm not happy and I won't buy again.
