I have been working in a project that requires me to mount a PCB Inside a heated enclosure so that I can maintain a constant temperature while powered on.I bought these resistors and I have them wired in pairs (series for 66 ohms) and then the pairs paralleled. These pairs are wired in parallel with other pairs which results in a max current draw of 1.1A @ 18V, and therefore around 19W total.I have had zero issues with these and I have bought more of these resistors since they’re incredibly useful to have in stock. Since I am only drawing a total of 19W, this equates to around 1W per resistor which is well below their power rating, since these are sinking into the enclosure, I use a fuse and temperature sensors to detect failure conditions that would otherwise I could experience thermal runaway.
