This clock has a dim backlit display that stays on all the time. I don't know how it doesn't run down the battery, but you can read the time clearly in any light! This is a fantastic little alarm clock. It is easy to use and has 3 alarms. It comes with a rechargeable battery that is recharged with a standard 5 volt USB-A style cell phone charger. Charger not included, but the recharging cable is included. Almost any convenience store sells this type of charger, but you probably already have one. The battery comes charged and so far, I have not had to recharge it. The clock shows the time in giant easy to read numbers, the month, date and day of week. Plus it has a thermometer! Since it runs off a battery, you can take it anywhere! It has a large snooze button that pauses the alarm for 5 minutes. If you do not press the snooze button... the alarm will not sound again once it cycles off. This is so if it goes off while you are not home, etc. it will not run down the battery. The only thing I have found that this clock does not do it adjust the time when changing to/from daylight savings time. The time just changed last night and I had to manually update the clock.

Love that it has 3 available alarm settings. You also have to actually press a button on the back to turn off, so no accidental switch offs. It's very loud too. It gets progressively more urgent in sound if you don't snooze it.

3 months in a d half the buttons stopped working, including 2 of the 3 alarms.

Great little alarm clock. We’ve been using it to remind our 7 year old to log into his virtual classes. I love that you can set which days the alarm goes off. The night light is a nice touch.

This alarm clock can't be in a higher location because can't be visible IDK why but happened with 2 of them but the price it's very affordable so I just have to keep them kinda lower so I can see it LOL

I love this little clock! It's perfect for what I needed. I like that it is rechargeable and can be seen in the dark though not at all bright. I am very pleased with this purchase!

I have a feeling this clock will be a life saver if I ever get left without electricity and it's why I bought it, it has multiple functionalities and you can see the time in the dark very well besides the temperature, day and date too.

This is not exact item as displayed in picture. There are no calender, also this is 3 AAA normal battery operated clock. No usb charging slot. But still I've modified my clock with blue and chrome combination. Please guys tell me your opinion how my modified clock is looking.
