Quick Shipping to U.S.
Wow, I can believe this made it from Amazon UK to Texas in three days. Ordered it on the 10th in the afternoon and had it midday on the 14th. Typical Bosch Professional quality 12v tool that accepts my U.S. Bosch 12v batteries. Seems very powerful and capable compared to my essentially worthless cordless Dremel. I believe this will handle 99% of jobs I would need and I can leave the corded Dremel in the tool box. Very happy with the purchase. The L Boxx will get put to use in some other way so I guess it’s a bonus. I probably will store some obscure rarely used tools in it or make it a spare parts box. Otherwise, that box system is a wholehearted fail by my favorite cordless power tool platform. Milwaukee Packout system has all other companies beaten hands down in that realm. L Boxx latch came off in my hand the first time I opened the box LOL, but the tool is great. Don’t know why they don’t sell them in the U.S.

Highy Recomended!
I bought this for the shop I work at. And its one of those things you wish you had gotten sooner! It easily cuts through the metal liners, rivets and screws we need to remove, with minimal damage to the steel and aluminum plates we work with. (sometimes we do cut into the plates we are trying to remove but stuff happens and its better than getting new plates. (That might not even exist anymore)I also bought two 3 amp 12 volt max batteries which seam like they have a bit more power and last longer. (maybe?)I own both a dermal corded tool and Milwaukee rotary tool and I like them both, but one is corded and the other is a bare bone version of a rotary tool. It works but no bells or whistles. Also I use aftermarket cut off disk and sanding drums with the Bosch, Just stuff from Amazon. no need to waste more of my money for the company. The Bosch rotary tool I bought from Amazon was delivered to me from England, It has no USA warranty. But was only about $130 so if it fails I'll get another one.I chose the Bosch tool because I all ready had a Bosch 12 volt max Screw driver and small drill,I had a choice of a Dermal battery powered tool or the Bosch. but I didn't want any more battery chargers (systems) floating around the shop.Oh! I needed the cordless tool. But a corded tool is best! And will last years and years, and the batteries, will get old and need to be replaced, and bought again. If you can get by with the cord. Choose the cord.

another favorable review
this is a solid bosch tool. uses batteries that I already had so really convenient for me to use. seems very powerful for a rotary tool. Haven't used it to polish or grind, seems like primarily a cut off tool and works really well for that. It is interesting that it comes from Europe and isn't sold in the USA. could be some patent problem but it arrived fairly quickly. I also generally agree that the storage box is better suited for something else and seems like overkill to hold the rotary tool and few extra chucks and discs.

Beast!
I wanted a rotary tool that was both cordless and that worked with my current stock of Bosch rechargeable tools (I didn't want to have to buy a brand that would make me have to buy all new batteries) and this was perfect! It works great and the standard battery gives me about 20 minutes of constant grinding, so I think I'm going to spring for the larger battery especially since I have a few other Bosch tools that use the same size battery.

no warranty here
as is my custom, when the tool arrived, I went to register it for warranty.the system would not accept the tool model number.I called Bosch tech support, who informed me they could not provide USA warranty for this tool.seems it was only released for the European market.being uncomfortable with that, I returned it.in my opinion, it is a mistake for Amazon to be offering this tool in USA.also, there was no battery or charger, and the plastic box it came in was enormous for that size tool.
