Ideal Cold Weather Backpacking Set Up
Here's the package we bought below. We wanted to get lightweight, compressible gear (for backpacking in mountains for days), that's easy to set up, comfortable, and warm. Ever since we first tried this package out together, we were sold on it, and have used it ever since (January, February, March '21 backpackers this year). And I anticipate using it for a very long time going forward. We used this package on the Appalachian Trail and Rocky Mountains backpacking in single degree weather, and we were as warm being in our own house. No joke. We could not believe how warm and comfortable we were. It would even get hot at times (we had thermal top and bottoms on only) so we had to peek our head out a little to get some cool air. And comfort? So comfortable. We (my 15, 16, 19 yr old boys and I) are never going back to tent camping ever. This is too good. So easy too. No worries about wetness on the ground, rain hitting the tent, packing up a wet tent, sleeping on the hard ground (we even had super killer self-inflating camping pads are that are awesome, but it's still a degree of hardness because you're on DIRT!), mildew worries from tent moisture, etc. etc. The time it takes to set up and take down is incredible. Obviously, you need trees or some other structure to hook onto. But other than that, this is the way to go for us. Best of luck with finding your ideal set up. Excellent for the money.
Tested one of these out on a camping trip and was quite impressed. Immediately ordered two of these while still camping. The nitty gritty... Theses are an excellent buy just for the fabric alone. They have lots of tie downs already attached. Plus it comes with little stakes. While the tie-off areas are lightly reinforced, they wont hold during heavy winds. You will need to reinforce these more yourself for other-than-casual camping purposes. That is just the corners. The additional tie-off points are not reinforced, but are acceptable for low-wind situations. The rip-stop nylon shed water like a rubber raincoat. What I'm going to do, is add additional corner and tie-off reinforcement, and add at least one new center tie-off so I can raise the center line. As one would expect, the black ones get hotter underneath in the sun. Mine was the 10 by 12 black. Great bargain at $20 a piece.

THIS IS THE TARP FOR YOU!
What a great lightweight tarp! I have a Suncast shed that's a few years old and due to earthquakes and adobe foundation, the roof separated. This tarp was a lifesaver with keeping the recent storms from flooding inside of my 8x10 shed through the roof. So far it has handled reliably the heavy rain, high winds and hail. Anyone seeking a high quality lightweight tarp, THIS IS THE TARP FOR YOU!

Amazing construction for the price
Have used this a few times now and would never go back to another product, for the price and durability it's going to be hard to match.

Great Tarp, Horrible guy lines and tensioners
I’m very pleased with the tarp, it is seam sealed, lightweight and compact. However, the guy lines and especially the cheap plastic tensioners were horrible. The plastic tensioners did not hold well, not easy to get to stay in place, and easily displaced which would cause the poles and tarp to collapse, even when a wind picked up.Could be some user error, after I reconfigured it stood up better. But an accidental bump into a guy line caused it to loosen. I think I could have tied Boy Scout knots and had better results.I’m ordering metal/aluminum tensioners to replace the plastic ones and expect them to hold and work much better. If they had provided even adequate tensioners I’m sure my rating would be a four or even a five. It’s too bad such low quality and poor performing tensioners were provided with what seems to be an otherwise quality product.I hope the company starts spending a very likely small amount more for the small accessory components, even if charging a dollar or two more to provide an all around quality product and better experience.
