I have had various heat pads in the past but didnt work well. so i was looking for something else and i found this hosome heat pad .My back regularly goes into spasm and I’m in chronic pain. I can’t take strong pain killers.so I ordered this heat pad in the hope that it heated up to a suitable level. It arrived today and I am over the moon with it. It is made from super soft material which is nice and thick. It heats up really quickly and to a sufficient temperature that has exceeded my expectation! It has 6 settings and I have it at about 4 and that’s nice and hot for me. That’s great because on days when my pain is at its most severe I know I can have it even hotter at level 6. For anyone who just simply wants this as a soothing blanket on cold days then I recommend it for that too because it is literally like a big hug! It is well made and I am extremely pleased that I decided to buy it.its so good I bought another one for a gift! I’m a genuine amazon customer and I don’t normally do reviews but for this I simply had to!

I suffer from upper back problems and have tried many items to relieve the pain. This is definitely one of the best.It's very simple to use . Put over your shoulders, fasten the press studs and tie around your waste.It gets warm quickly and really kicks out a fair bit of warmth. My wife has tried it and she basically steaks it at every opportunity!Not only is it good it's also the wife's favourite colour!

Very happy with this mainly because it’s a bigger size than others offer but it still has the multi heat settings etc ...now my husbands a rather large man so needed something that would actually fit ‘across’ his shoulders and whole back and this is ideal. It’s lovely quality, well made, good stitching etc. The high collars nice as it stops his neck getting cold while he is relaxing with this on. He suffers from arthritis in his spine after years of tattooing so this is a very important part of his daily routine. Heat helps immensely and this has several settings but we ( both ) love it on full blast it’s fabulous! Well pleased Thankyou.

Best thing I’ve brought, I suffer really bag with lower back pain and usually just use a hot water bottle. This heat pad has been an absolute godsend the last two night and with the timer it allows me to put it on for an hour and I know I can fall asleep without having to worry about switching it off.

Got this as I have lower back & neck issues & couldn't find anything to apply heat to both areas without constantly having to shift myself or pillows/cushions around. I'm 5ft 2in & it covers my shoulders & back easily, there is a collar with poppers which comes over the neck but it's quite loose on me so doesn't give as much heat as other areas. It really delivers heat to the whole back area & is good around the shoulders. The material is lovely & soft, the colour is more teal than the lighter blue shown in the photo. I like the fact that it has a control where you can turn the heat up or down & that it turns itself off after a couple of hours. The only real problem I have is that it's not portable. Would recommend. Edit - 1 month on & it's stopped working. Don't know why but it's dead as a dodo :( Will be contacting company to see if I'm still eligible for a a refund/swap.

Lasts 6 months. Do not buy. Waste of money.

The product is fine, works as described. My only negative point is that it doesn’t get quite hot enough for me, even on the highest setting. Assuming this is down to a safety standard so understandable.The on/off button doesn’t always work, so you have to press it multiple times to get a response.I also wouldn’t call it ‘extra large’ - as an average sized adult woman, it just covers my back & not much more.

I have struggled with a bad back ever since 1996 when I was involved in a rear ended RTC. I have been seen by physio’s and chiropractors and even tried acupuncture, but the pain always comes back. I ended up in A&E one night, as I couldn’t walk and was then sent to the local hospital for exercises on a ball, which was very good, but in time work gets busy and you don’t always find time to do the exercises and then end up in pain again, every day. I have 2 heat packs at home that you put it the microwave and a hot water bottle at work for easing the pain. I also have a Shiatsu back massager on the dining room chair which I use daily whilst eating breakfast. My mum contacted me to say she wanted to buy me this heat wrap pad for my birthday and I needed to look into it. Having researched the different heating wraps (there are quite a few) and reading numerous reviews, I decided to try this one and I can say that I think it’s marvellous. My job at work has changed and I now work 12hr shifts working at a computer and the heat pad is fabulous. Once you’ve positioned yourself, it stays in place with the velvet soft ties that you tie in front and it clips around your neck. There are 3 push clips, and having experimented with them I find that I only use 2 of them otherwise it gets to warm. You also don’t need to take it off after the 30min stint, because the lead unplugs, so you can get up and walk around and then sit down and plug it in again next time you feel pain. I always put it on heat setting 6, but as autumn has just started, I might use setting 5. The whole thing is velvet and very comfy. I am very happy with it and would definitely recommend it!
