Allermates Child Medical Bracelet (Autism)

It's great and cute and all but, no such website exists apparently to link the number on the bracelet to. Those familiar with autism know that wandering can be an issue, so I was really hoping I'd be able to link it to my information in the event that, God-Forbid - my son ever wander and get separated from me. Pretty disappointed the sole purpose for purchasing this, doesn't work. Good thing it wasn't that expensive.

The bracelet, itself, is okay.. But I'll be returning it because of the packaging.. The bracelet is snapped around a piece of cardboard (as shown in the listing pic). As a result of this, the bracelet is stuck in an oval shape; rather than a circle shape.. When I un-snapped it from the cardboard, it retained the oval shape (as shown) and would NOT un-bend. So, when I put it on my daughters wrist, it doesn't fit right. (if I can add a pic in a bit, to this review, of my daughter's wrist with the bracelet on, I will do so). I would be okay, with this issue, if I paid like $1 but not when I paid almost $9. So unless you know of a way to un-mold/un-bend plastic that's been molded into an oval, rather than a circle, don't buy this. The manufacturer really needs to rethink this package design. It ruins the product.

This is our 3rd allermates bracelet in two years. Our previous two were ones where you could use the charms and both broke the strap in the charm holes. One lasted a year, the second only a few month. We have had this one several months with no signs of wear. I really like how this one fits on my son's wrist.

I bought this for my nephew. It fits well and has adjustable sizes so it will fit for a little while before we have to devise a new plan. He is really proud of his puzzle piece bracelet. He has been showing it off to everyone he meets. I think it was a great purchase and will help other people understand and be more compassionate towards him.

My 7 year old won't wear it, but I hook it on his bag.

Perfect! Bought for my son for our trip to New York City. Wanted something that would alert others if he were list but didn't feel like a big fat label. He really liked this bracelet. Wasn't uncomfortable and he never tried to take it off.
