Nice device but with some flaws, been having mine for about 2 years. I got annoyed with it cause it continues to say "reformat SD card" everytime I restart my car, I can drive to the corner if I cut my car off it say reformat and I just reformatted before I left the house (2min.ago) so yes it got annoying I took it out and throw it in the back of my suv for about a year I just pulled it back out cause someone hit my car while i was at work in the parking garage, and it still says the same thing so at this point it's pointless to have cause It's not recording anything, and now also I can't get the gps module to connect, so the device can't read it now. I really like it but it just has too many issues.

I got this because a few months ago, my wife had a "run in" with a trucker, and he damaged our side mirror. It was his word against ours. The truck was turning left and as he was turning, the rear of his truck swung over and hit our mirror. He did not even know he had done it, we had no way of proving it and so it did not get fixed by them. My son just started driving, and so this is in case anything happens, he won't be taken advantage of by someone because he is young. I know that situations like what I described are not easy to handle, and especially so for hew drivers. I purchased two cameras, one for each car, as well as a cord to keep it powered up while it is parked. I like it so far. It powers up when I start the car, and gives me alerts if there was something that was recorded while it was parked. The only thing is that there are only two sensitivity settings and two recording time settings. Also when viewing it on your phone, the picture is so small, there is no way of viewing it full screen, so it is hard to get any real details if you need to.

This dash cam is THE BEST!! THE APP WORKS LIKE IT SHOULD!!!! If you're looking for a dash cam that you can quickly connect too, to view the files and even download them on a whim this is it. The app work flawlessly on my pixel 5 Android phone.The quality is great day or night. It starts recording right when you get in the car before you even start your car. You can playback straight from the device. It's small and hardly noticable. Easy to connect the wifi. Everything about this is so simple and easy to use, from installation to using the device.I've had a few dash cams in my time and I'm upgrading from the rove 4k to this and I'm much happier with this one. The rove app was slow sluggish always buffering and just sucked. Worse part was when the dash cam memory was full it only prompted a message on the screen to format with no audible sound..... So because I have it behind my rear view mirror and can't really see the screen I was going weeks without recording. Just wasn't cutting it for me.So I've only had this for a few days and I can already tell the quality of this is way better. But I will update this review a few months from now..... because a big game changer for me is if this makes a noise once the memory card is full, which will take a while because only flagged videos don't get written over. It will loose a few stars if it doesn't.

This camera is well designed, easy to install and operate. Does a great job, considering the cost. It doesn't come without FLAWS. *When recording an emergency video, it should go back 10-20 seconds and include that into the video... but it doesn't. You land up going to a previous recording to really get what you wanted.*wi-fi is Very Slow. I can be right next to the until and still only get download speed of 2-5Mb/s so downloading even just one 3min video takes time.... image if you want 5 or 10 of them... very painful*when you open an app, you'd like it to automatically connect to camera wifi... but it doesn't. So you need to gonto phone settings and manually connect to your cams wifi 1st....There are few PROS as well*you can preview your videos on the app without downloading them from your camera*voice recognition "take photo", "record video" work well*video quality is not amazing but considering the price, I think it's good.*with a GPS module added, you get lane departure, collision warning, currect speed and coordinates

I purchased a camera in December 2020 and at the beginning of 2022 I kept on getting low battery alerts. Come to find out that it has a defective battery and now I need a new dash cam.

I really like that this is small and out of the way on my windshield. It comes with two little plastic stickers so that you are not sticking the camera on your windshield. Nice touch. You can say 'Take a Picture' or 'Start Emergency video' and it will do both. To get the app to connect it may take a couple tries but it will eventually work, keep the app open or you will disconnect. This part took me tons of searching and tinkering around. To get the video off the camera you have to download it, the go to the main page of the app, click the person top left corner, then local album there you can download it to your phone. I have an Iphone XS my videos went to my Gallery/Library whatever it's called. I hope this helps the next person. I was truly lost

Excelente. Pequena, sútil, fica discreta no parabrisa, tem design inovador e qualidade muito boa. É possível conectar o app do celular durante o trajeto do carro ou se quiser visualizar os videos gravados enquanto outro dirige, tudo por wifi. Também é possível acessar os vídeos pelo cartão. Grava o som interno também com boa qualidade.A qualidade da gravação noturna é impressionante. Só com o farol do carro a gravação fica muito boa, mesmo com pouca iluminação da via.Possui alguns comandos em inglês também.

O produto vinha funcionando muito bem, até que de repente parou de gravar a data e a hora, e sempre que desligo o veículo, pede para eu conectar a uma fonte de energia, ou seja, não está funcionando a função de estacionamento, pois parece ser problema na bateria do equipamento.

Ótimo produto, sem dúvidas. Mas vem no idioma chinês, necessitando atualizar o firmware para mudar para inglês. Uma busca no YouTube acha fácil o tutorial pra resolver o problema. O SD card só funciona classe 10, então, prepare-se para já comprar, caso não tenha. Para fazer a atualização, um classe 4 já funciona.

A camera é ótima em questao de resolução, porém vem em chinês! Como já citado nos comentários, ela vem TOTALMENTE em CHINÊS e você só conseguirá mudar para inglês se baixar um firmware na internet, que é desatualizado e também não é 100% confiável, pois você tem que baixar de um site que não é oficial da empresa. Se você não tem o mínimo de conhecimento com computador eu não recomendo…

A câmera veio no idioma chinês, e não no inglês como estava na resposta a uma pergunta na página do produto. Tive que alterar o firmware após pesquisar no YouTube como fazer isso, baixei o arquivo para alterar para inglês de uma fonte não confiável, arriscando perder o equipamento. Felizmente, deu certo.
