Works well
This item works as described, but is not very stable. The radar gun will occasionally tip over.

Great training aide, takes a second to reset but works great with good batteries
Works great

Not accurate
Seems to only detect half of the shots and results vary a lot and doesn't seem accurate at all. Hard shots can show 40 and then a casual flip shows 60. Maybe it's just very finicky with the placement etc but based on first use this seems pretty useless.

No better than the generic devices that look the same
I thought this might be better than the other versions made by NetPlays. The device has trouble detecting pucks and balls, which is not a problem I have had with other models. I assume these devices are all being sourced by the same manufacturer, and the quality of the electronics is quite poor.

It can come faulty and they wont let you return it
So I got this for Christmas. I hear of free additives that were supposed to come with it but I never got that, maybe my family ordered a different package. Anyways, I'll put new batteries in it, and it doesn't function for what it's supposed to do. I hear of them admitting that it can't distinguish between a stick and the puck once you get too close, and HockeyShot even says to stay 20-50ft out. I mean, respectable I suppose (if it's only function is to pick up the speed of objects), but they really need to mention all the little gimmicks and parts that don't work before selling something like this for $149.99. Now in comparison to other radars, this one doesn't appear to look very good. It looks and feels like dollarama plastic in its sturdiness, I personally haven't crashed into mine nor have I shot it it yet, but I know it'll break if that happened, its pretty weak in how it feels. So on to my personal experience with it. It only has the capability of turning on for 10 seconds and then shutting off afterwards. The only actual button that works for mine is switching from KPH to MPH. The Still/,move button doesn't work, REC button doesn't work, and Voice button doesn't work. Only buttons that work is KPH/MPH and On/OFF. It turns itself off after 10 seconds anyways, so Idk whats the point in having an OFF component, when the radar itself is actively trying to shut itself off. If you rip a shot within the 10 seconds you're awarded after turning it on, it wont register your shot. I'm almost 100% certain this particular radar I got for christmas is faulty, I have done everything that any person can do with a radar with brand new batteries and that has 5 buttons on the back, I've tested it in warm and cold and with the tripod on and without it on, even holding the buttons, same result every time, but ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Now if I was actually able to get a new one or a refund, maybe I'd call it a 2/3 star after that, and if it flat out worked very well, maybe a 4 star, but in comparison to other shot radars, this thing aint a 5 star. Sorry to have given it a 1 star, that's just my honest experience with this, its been frustrating.
