This thing is really nice at getting at that under hair on our cat. I take it slow and gentle with him and he loves it. Great comb, two sides to it. It's well made and when I am finished combing out the cat, it looks like we have another one on the floor from the pile of fur. :) He has med long hair and it's thick.

This is the brush I wish I had bought years ago. I have a Great Pyrenees and have been wasting hours of my life brushing him with a slicker brush. This one actually gets the undercoat and allows me to prevent the shedding all over every surface of my house. I only use the big rake side and have to be very gentle but it makes a world of difference for long-haired, double-coated dogs.

For my horses.Being new to Oregon I had no idea about the ticks from the elk or the incredible rain rot from duh the rain. I gave since conquered both & this gas helped a lot!How? You may ask. I no longer have to use my fingernails to pull off ticks or the rain rot crusty crap.And!!!!! Drumroll…I’m getting the hair that they need to shed while saving the beautiful top layer. And anyone with horses knows most people will use tools that take the top layer & bottom to get to the shedding & that’s not the way to do it.Save your horse’s hair …your nails & your sanity & get this!

Works great on short hair German shepherd but not on my long haired. It's awesome on short haired, it does pull, and outside is a must. But noticed barely any hair coming off for almost two weeks. Totally worth it for short haired. And is kinda big so probably not easy on smaller dogs

I have a 9-year-olds long-haired German Shepherd that sheds all the time this is the best brush that I have ever bought I've owned two other German Shepherds so I'm very familiar with Slicker brushes undercoat brushes all of them and this is by far the best brush that I've ever bought I'll buy another one just so I have a spare on hand I highly recommend it I love it

Works beautifully at de-shedding my husky from the transition from winter to spring. I was getting tired of vacuuming every day, but when I received this lifesaver. I immediately put her on a leash and took her outside with the brush in hand. Did a really good job! It’s comfortable to hold and glides so smoothly bringing all of my huskies hair with it. Highly recommend.

Says for cat or dog but I’d recommend only getting it if you have a dog that’s medium sized at least the brush is pretty large, kinda uncomfortable to use on my cat
