This book will be an amazing tool for busy pastors to grow the Kingdom of God!
As a church planter and lead pastor for over 14 years, I totally agree with Dave and Jon in this book that a HUGE amount of people get stuck and paralyzed by their deep sense of regret! Through the years, I have counseled people in this area more than any other. Even my own mother had a terrible time moving past the 'sorry cycle' that Dave and Jon describe in this regret mode. I love how Dave and Jon keep directing God's people to get back to the basic teaching of the Gospel message (just like the apostle Paul did in the book of Romans, chapter 1.) It's simple and yet so very deep at the same time! Regret is one of the biggest stumbling blocks that all of us face - and sadly, it keeps many people from growing into the fully devoted followers of Christ that our God created us to become! Our church is planning on doing an outreach series using this book in Easter 2017! I am looking forward to seeing MANY baptisms following this series just as we did MANY following the "Finding Your Way Back to God" series based on their previous book! Thanks Dave and Jon - for being obedient to God in writing this book!

This Book will Transform Lives!
"If there's a formula to returning the dawn to our lives, this is it..."Dave & Jon have taken a very complex issue (being stuck in the suffering of regret) and delivered a clear path to healing, hope and purpose. One of my favorite things about these authors is their ability to eliminate any stuffy, esoteric noise and deliver spiritual principles in very simple, engaging, and entertaining language. Not only did I enjoy the read, but I've also already bought and distributed multiple copies of this book to friends who needed a catalyst to help them transform their pain into purpose. I would highly recommend this book, as well as their previous book "Finding Your Way Back to God", to all.

Great tools for learning how to forgive yourself and others
I've been seeing a great therapist for some time now to help me with self esteem, and one of the most important things I've learned is how important it is to deal with regret. The steps of "recognize, release, redeem" seem right on the money to me. I like the way it is explained, in simple terms, with practical examples. I read the book in one sitting. Highly recommended for anyone who wrestles with guilt and how to forgive others, and themselves.

It's OK
The author's deal with a much-needed topic, Regret. The talk about the "sorry cycle" and how to get out of it. They list different types of regret of action, inaction, etc. There are some good nuggets in the book but I started to get bored halfway through. It feels like they were stretching the subject out much longer than needed. There are worksheets in the back that may be useful. The bok may be good for a small group study dealing with the issue of regret.

Love your regrets?
I never considered loving my regrets before. Now, when a regret tries to drag me down in my mind, I can consider how I've grown from it. How to learn from it, and how not to repeat it. This book is enjoyable to read. It has been very helpful, lifting the weight of regret from my life.

A very good read
A very good read, systematically progressing through the material. But I wish I hadn't bought it on Kindle - there are many times I wanted to go back a few pages or a few chapters; but it's so much easier with a hard copy.
