HANDHELD REPOINTER FOR DARTS POINTS REPOINTING TOOL MACHINE by PerfectDarts

It seems a bit expensive for what it is, and it looks like something that an average Joe could maybe fabricate in a shed ... providing he has some decent drills, clamps and vices (plus the raw material) etc. However, it does the job of making it very simple and easy to replace dart points. There are a number of alternative repointing devices available to buy, but these are generally a lot more expensive and, at the end of the day, really just do the same job. The plain fact of the matter is that dart points are as cheap as chips and this tool has cost me about the same amount of money as my set of darts. Without this tool, I would have had to buy new darts ... so, I've broke even (for now). However, I will still have this tool at my disposal the next time I need to replace my dart points, at which time the total cost to myself will only be around 50 pence. This, of course, makes much financial sense. I am very satisfied with my purchase and would happily recommend the product.

I thought of getting this tool for quite a while but never envisaged needing it. Then my wife broke a point off one of her favourite set of darts. I thought about buying her a new set but bought this instead for less than 2 sets of darts. It works perfectly and exactly as described. A bit crudely built in places and is coated in some form of protective black stuff -- not grease or oil but a bit messy. I cleaned it with kitchen roll and oiled the scre threads and can't wait to use it again. One more repoint and it has paid for itself. It is a brilliant piece of kit and works exactly as described in the instructions. Highly recommended for any darts enthusiast interested in a bit of DIY.

Easy to use does the job

Visited a dart shop for repointing. They struggled to do it. Claiming barrels not drilled enough. Mistrusting competence I bought this to try myself and repointed with ease.

Really easy to use. Love my darts now I have re-pointed them with this device. Takes me only 2 mins per dart to full repoint them. 100% recommend

Came as used condition but the thread had chunks missing out of it and all round poor condition dont buy used condition camr in shocking condition

Dose the job and is constructed well I used my own Allen keys as the ones supplied didn’t provide enough leverage and was loose in the bolts the reason for 4 starts is it could have been easier to grip while using I held it with a set of vice grips clamped to it while I turned the big screw to remove the points makes it much easier I have repointed 3 sets of darts with it and plan to do many more
