The refills are are great to have on hand and a money-saver if you just need the ink and not a pen barrel. The ink dries quickly and does not smear. The Precise V5 pen and refills are my favorite writing instruments for all purposes.

These pilot precise refills make me feel good. I love the smooth way these pens write and by using refill for my existing pen's there's less waste!

I have used this kind of ball pens for over 15 years. Great quality, although over the last 3-4 years I have noticed slight deterioration in quality (it seems to dry up even though there’s still ink in it. I wonder if there was a change in manufacturer!), but since the overall quality is still OK, I continue buying it.

I journal everyday .. and love using the Pilot Precise V5 RT pens -- the ink flows fast so I was buying new pens a lot --- I love that I can save $$ by purchasing refills... these work great and save you money over buying new pens.
