Nice looking speakers
Nice looking speakers, sounds great and good price for this product. But when you install the speakers mounting clips not open. Screw with bracket breaks ,so you have to be very gentle with screw gun.

Rock The Rafters
My old, tired and torn speakers in the ceiling of our 30 year old home were WAY overdue for replacing. These were SO much better quality and the sound is excellent. I used a mini-amp to amplify the TV sound so now I can listen to standard stations that our TV provider offers ALL through the house. Definitely recommend these, especially for ceiling installations.

For a relatively inexpensive speaker, these have a good sound. Though I wouldn't want them for anything more than 2.1 surround. The plastic face plates are decent, but have a tendency to get discolored. Keep the baggies on them until installation is finished (or use the plate you don't plan on using [there are two]) They are easy to clean, and I suspect that painting them is not a problem, as long as the application is light. The holes are very small and could gum up quickly. So... I wouldn't use these in a kitchen.
