Crystal clear marking
Just love this pen - works on a huge variety of surfaces and is easy to apply neatly with just the right amount of feedback through the nib. Never had one before - wouldn't be without one now - around the house, in the garage, on the boat, in the garden . So useful!

Starting right is crucial
Many people fail to get these working right and complain that the ink is watery or that they only work once. These things can happen. The pens need really shaking and I MEAN REALLY SHAKING! You have to hear that ball banging off the ends inside and if it stops ( which it easily can ) you need to shake even harder till it starts again. This needs to go on for a good minute or longer. Then you need to press the pen up and down on the tip repeatedly but not so hard that you splay the end of the tip out. Once the tip becomes white it will work, but the top needs to go back on tight every time. Do all this and they work brilliantly. I’ve had one I use for marking dismantled machinery parts that’s lasted at least 5 years although I did get grease on the end of it’s predecessor and that pretty much ruined it.

Ripped off with false advertising!
FALSE ADVERTISING - Absolute rip off!I paid nearly £8 for a red marker and nearly £4 for a white marker. When I purchased them they were advertised as a pack of ten: Edding 4-8750049 7697720025 8750 Industry Paint Marker White-Pack of 10-Highly Permanent Labelling of Slightly Oily, Dusty and Dark Surfaces. When they arrived I was disgusted to only receive 1 of each. £8 for 1?!?!? I could’ve bought a tin of paint for that! I contacted the seller immediately, and 4 days later - no response, but lo and behold - they’ve now updated the wording on their ad! So that’s a positive that no one else will be scammed but they’re happy to ignore me. Terrible customer service! From reading through the reviews, it looks like I wasn’t the only one who was clearly overcharged.

Good paint pen, misleading description
As always Edding is a good branded paint marker. Does exactly what it should. My disappointment, and hence my rating, is that it is made to look like you are getting 10 pieces (i.e. 10 individual pens) in the advert. This is what the banner said:Edding 4-8750049 7697720025 8750 Industry Paint Marker White-Pack of 10-Highly Permanent Labelling of Slightly Oily, Dusty and Dark SurfacesYou get only 1 pen, very misleading. If this had been clear i could have got the pen cheaper from other suppliers with carriage.

Terrible for tyre painting
Didn't work at all. Pen was only working when held vertically which doesn't work when trying to paint a horizontal surface. Fluid wouldn't flow at all and eventually gave up!
