This kit is amazing! Although I have yet to suture a living being, I feel confident if the need to close a serious wound arises, for myself or others, and no medical assistance possible, I will do my best. This kit is actually suitable for my needs. In the details it does mention this is actually suitable for traumatic injury emergencies as well. I live in the bay area, who knows when the "big one" will hit. Here we constantly are bombarded with how the next earthquake will be catastrophic. I bought a practice suture kit with different sizes of monofilament line, and a practice pad. This worked well for learning. With the emergency response folks guiding me as well. As mentioned earlier, if the injury is severe, and there are no other option, I will see how I can assist. I put together a trauma kit for a small fortune,as the restocked ones that would. Ostme several thousand. I also have a grab and run like heck 70 lb tactical backpack. It is stocked with 3 days of mre meals, clean warm clothes, backpack camp stove and Fuel with a bit of weight, backpack tent etc..etc..etc All of what I have found is high quality and can be found on Amazon for a good price. Just take your time searching :)

Tengo conocimientos de cirugía y este ser me pareció genial para su precio, no es profesional por supuesto pero lo compré para urgencias porque en mi país tiembla la tierra y hay que estar preparados, las suturas tienen muy buena calidad y las pinzas aunque no son profesionales cumplen su funciona magníficamente, se los recomiendo .
