Probably the best brace I've owned for any body part.
I haven't ever found a brace that doesnt inflict at least some degree of discomfort, especially one that wraps across your entire back and chest. However, this one is as close as I've ever come to one that provides some support and isn't a complete nuisance to wear. It will take you a little time to get the straps all adjusted to fit you properly but once you get it right it DOES provide beneficial support and compression. Its a brace, and the reason youre wearing it is to relieve some pain or prevent it. It isnt going to be invisible and youre not going to forget youre wearing it but it does its job as advertised and it does it well. Just stay diligent in getting it adjusted properly and it will definitely help you if you have rotator cuff issues.

Good stabilization
I bought a $44 brace from a company that could deliver in a couple of days. I was desperate for relief and Amazon would take too long to deliver here. That brace is a quality brace, but it didn’t fit well around my bicep and irritated my armpit. This Spartacus brace provides adjustable bicep support and is a little longer in the upper arm. It doesn’t rub my underarm, and it provides good shoulder compression. It’s easy to to put on by myself. I needed my husband’s help with the other one. It’s a lighter weight than the other brace which should help with the heat and humidity, and I do a lot of yard work. Seeing an ortho doc to get diagnosed takes time here and this brace is helping stabilize my shoulder and minimize the pain untii l can be seen and get a PT referral. I’d give it a 5 but I’ve just started using it. Update: I wore this for 6 hours today and my one complaint is the buckle the Velcro strap goes through to secure it around the bicep is uncomfortable on the underside of my upper arm. It can’t be moved since it’s stitched in place. Wearing it for fewer hours at a time will be ok.

Great five star product, but not really universal in size
Let me explain. This is a great product. I have been suffering from shoulder pain for quite a while. My pain is caused more by ligaments and not muscular but it probably helps both. I like that it helps keep my shoulder stable. Most of my pain is when i try and relax my arm and my shoulder feels like its sliding down. This product keeps it firm in place and helps relieve my muscles from having to stay tense all the time. The pouch for hot and cold pads is also a great plus to this product. I alternate between hot and cold gel pads and it really helps. It seems the be well constructed and the sewing is firm and should last a long time. Once you get the sizing correct it becomes really comfortable to wear and can be worn for a long time without discomfort from it. Which brings me to my slightly lower point of this shoulder brace. The only thing that I had a problem with was the sizing. I am not really a big guy. i have skinny arms and a fatter torso. I bought the universal thinking it would work. Surprisingly it was the right size around my torso but it was way too tight on my arm. I could not strap it around my arm. The universal size does seem to run really small around the arm. I went ahead and bought the XXL. When it came in, the shoulder part fits around my arm much better but the strap around my torso was too big and almost wrapped around my entire body before clasping. I could not easily put it on myself and secure it. The good thing about having both sizes was the torso strap is completely removable. I was able take the torso strap off the smaller universal sized one and installed it on the XXL shoulder pad. At this point it was a perfect fit! Great product if you can get the right fit. Since the arm strap is not removable it really limits the proper sizing to be universal. I don't ever recommend buying what you don't need, but with the low price of this item I would recommend buying both sizes and then it can be truly interchangeable for yourself as well as others that might need to use it. With both sizes you can then mix and match the torso straps as well as the shoulder portion. Other than the sizing this is a great overall product and you will not be disappointed in getting it (or both). Good luck!

Seemed to Aggravate My Shoulder
I have recovered from a frozen shoulder almost - about 95% motion-range and some residual guarding pain. It mostly hurts at night now. I hoped that this brace would help. It did not. The design is such that it rotates around one’s body quite freely, so I am at a loss to understand how it can hold one’s shoulder in place. I tried it for two weeks but it seemed to make my shoulder worse over that time. Your mileage may vary of course. It is well enough made, there are some adjustments to make it fit you, and it’s not uncomfortable to wear.

Well made
This shoulder brace fits, supports well and is easy to use. The quality is apparent and it has helped me to stay active during my shoulder replacement rehab.

AMAZON TO THE RESCUE!
This baby does exactly what it was advertised to do. I had a pretty gnarly motorcycle wreck over the weekend and destroyed my shoulder. I tore alllllll the ligaments in there and waiting for surgery. Meanwhile, the next few weeks ate going to be a challenge for me doing the single dad thing, working full time and caring for a kiddo. The struggled to find any means of being comfortable has been a real problem for me. I was really excited when this was delivered, i rushed to open it up and get it on my body, and MAN!!! this thing has answered my prayers. Im not saying it made my pain vanish but it squeezes everything back into place and in my situation keeps my completely ruptured AC and CC joint ligaments from letting my clavicle spring too far out of place and causing that murderous pain. I wrecked on saturday, spent saturday and sunday in the ER and trauma unit, and i made it to work in my metal shop today (tuesday). Moving slow and careful but im able to work now!!! Amazon to the rescue and money well spent!!

Didn't work for me
Didn't work for me, unfortunately missed return window by 2 days. Very uncomfortable under arm pit on opposite arm. Did not hold my shoulder tight enough.

Great as a pain reliever on serious injuries
A good brace for pain relief. The adjustable strap around the bicep provides sufficient compression and traction to prevent the brace from sliding, and the material is soft enough on the skin all day long, BUT! make sure to have an arm sleeve to prevent rash from developing during movements. Just make sure to hand wash and air dry them first before wearing or you'll suffer from a new material smell. It's definitely not a new car smell. I paired my shoulder brace from Grade 3 clavicle fractures (multiple pieces) and Grade 2 rotator cuff with the Amazon Choice arm sleeve set. A combination of these kinds of injuries are not something you can just enjoy life on a daily basis. The brace helps to make my shoulder feel less painful than most recovering days without it. If I have to measure the pain, it's between 5 and 6 out of 10 during movements. This is coming from a person with extreme high pain tolerance and not use any pain medication. The brace reduces the pain level down to 1, may be 2, out of 10 around the rotator cuff areas during movement. It reduces down to 0 without movements instead of 2 or 3 out of 10. This also reduces the range of motion by around 10 percent, but the support increases around 50 percent with it on compared to not having it at all. Too much range of motions can exceed its capacity to help. The downsides: The first thing is the biting. Like most indicated, the cuff strap around the arm will bite into your skin after an hour of use if you're going clothless. My suggestion is to wear the brace over your clothing with a sleeve going past your bicep. If you don't have a medium sleeve clothing, get an arm sleeve. The next is the abrasion. Yes, all braces, be the shoulder, elbow, or knee, there's an element of rubbing that cause abrasion during movement. A sleeve is needed, either from the clothing or a sleeve by itself. I highly suggest the standalone arm sleeve with good compression. Having compression helps with blood flow through the area for faster recovery. Third is the strap. I'll gladly pay a bit more if the strap is reinforced with a 0.5in or 1in polyester strap to increase the durability of the chest strap. The current chest strap design is soft, but it's too flexible, causing the strap to stretch too far and too fast. This reduces the amount of durability of the strap. I can understand the kinetic potential of the strap from the generated during movement, but adding two reinforced strips on each 1/3 ends of the strap will retain the kinetic potential of the strap while increasing the overall durability. It's a cheap investment to gain a bit of relief from the pain. It won't last long, but hopefully it will last long enough to allow me to recover for the next four months.

Non returnable- misleading size. Avoid this one
This item is way smaller than advertised. Avoid buying as it is non returnable. Better chose one that you can return if the size is not good for you. This item is a trap.

Excellent Support and Comfort – A Game Changer for Shoulder Pain
I’ve been dealing with persistent shoulder discomfort, likely from gym training and long hours at the computer, and this brace has exceeded my expectations. The compression and stability provide noticeable relief almost immediately, especially during daily activities and light workouts. It offers a solid balance between support and mobility, which is exactly what I was looking for. The adjustable straps make it easy to customize the fit, and I really appreciate that it can be worn on either shoulder. The material feels comfortable and breathable enough to wear under clothing for extended periods without irritation. One feature that stands out is the built-in pocket for an ice pack, which is very helpful for recovery after workouts or when inflammation flares up. That said, it’s not designed to fully immobilize the shoulder, so if you need strict support after surgery, this may not be the right option. Also, getting the perfect fit may take a couple of adjustments at first. Overall, this is a high-quality product that delivers real value for the price. I would definitely recommend it to anyone dealing with shoulder strain, rotator cuff issues, or general instability.
