Setup was easy!
Update: I've been using this for a year now and it's still working great. A few things to note, like most Logi keyboards, the letters on the frequently used keys will start to wear off. I was working a lot of overtime on a project this past year and I still haven't changed the batteries in the keyboard. The mouse requires charging about every 5-6 weeks for me. The charging cord looks exactly like the one for my bluetooth headset though, so labeling and storing in a place that it won't get lost until you need is a must as that's your only option for charging the mouse. Luckily it fully charges within a few hours.I'm a remote employee and bought this to replace a MK710 that I had been using for the past 4 years. I read a lot of reviews and was concerned about the setup. I opted to use the usb to connect instead of bluetooth so I turned on the mouse, pulled the plastic strip out of the keyboard battery compartment and plugged the usb dongle into my laptop and boom - booth mouse and keyboard started working immediately. I had also read the mouse only had the smooth scroll option which is not ideal for me since I tend to work in Excel a lot. Clicked on the mouse scroll wheel and it also has the option for the click scroll versus the smooth scroll. There are very limited setup directions printed on the inside of the box with pictures but if you require more detail, you can Google "MK875 setup" and one of the first links was to the Logitech manual. All in all, I found the setup very easy and performance so far is great. I'll give it a few months and update if I'm having any issues.

Mushy keyboard and won't connect thru Bluetooth - BEWARE!
Been using Logitech keyboards and mice for a very long time. Had an aging Logitech mouse go whacko on me so thought it was time to replace and [hopefully] upgrade. I use the heck out of these as I work from home. My old Logitech keyboard that I've had since 2015 is still functional, but the letters on the keys are worn off (and that happened in the matter of a couple of years). The associated mouse that came with it though? It's toast.Bought this set to replace what I have. First, this keyboard is mushy - next to unsuable...horrible, horrible, horrible! After about 5 minutes with it I felt like throwing the piece of trash keyboard against the wall! The mouse? It works, but is one of those that has to be recharged. What was wrong with the AA battery setup?Don't get me started on how difficult this is to setup on a brand new MacBook using Bluetooth. It connects then immediately disconnects. Spent over an hour trying to get this setup to connect via Bluetooth and finally gave up. Plugged in the stupid USB dongal that came with this set and it all came to life. Bottom line: This setup won't work with anything but the supplied dongal that came with the set (especially if you're using a Mac). Obviously wasn't thoroughly tested (shame on you Logitech). I've had other Logitech products that would connect to either Windows or Mac without any issue at all. Not this one!Returning this one - it's abysmal quality at best. I think this is the last Logitech product I'll ever buy...their quality has gone down the toilet!

One keyboard & mouse to control 2 computers - awesome!
I am using this for my company Dell PC laptop and my personal Apple MacBook Pro. I've been using for about a month now.For the most part is works as promised. Here's the downsides:1) only one unifying USB is included in the package, yet the keyboard is designed to work on up to 3 devices. At least they could have included two Unifying USBs, or made it obvious in the description you need to buy additional ones before setting up multiple devices. Once a USB is tied to one device, it would take research to figure out how to assign it to a different device, it's not an obvious setup.2) it isn't as smooth an operation as advertised. Frequently it gets hung up between the two computer or monitor screens and you have to manually push 1, 2 or 3 on the keyboard AND manually turn the mouse upside down to select the coordinating number as the keyboard. It will work flawlessly for a while and then suddenly start giving issues. I don't know if it would work smoother if all units were PC or Apple based.3) The keyboard is loud when typing on it. If I'm taking electronic notes while on a Zoom call, participants can hear me typing. Yes my Apple keyboard has some noise associated with it too, yet it's significantly quieter than the Logitech keyboard.4) because of the glitchiness, when only using my Apple I go back to my Magic Mouse & Keyboard. The Logitech works great when permanently tied to my Dell laptop.5) I am using two laptop screens each with an additional monitor attached to each laptop. When moving from far right to far left screen it does sometimes hesitate on a middle screen. Many times I have to reposition my mouse on it's pad to continue the movement, or be patient until the mouse "catches up" to the movement.6) because of the mismatch of dissimilar OS platforms, you have to compromise on the functions the keys perform. In some cases I just switch to the laptop keyboard to control the copy and/or paste functions. That could become an issue if working off of monitors exclusively when the laptops are closed. I did not attempt to redefine keys though that is an option.Overall for the money and the lack of additional options on Amazon that I found, I would buy this again knowing there will be moments of frustration when it doesn't want to move seamlessly between screens. Thankfully it's intermittent.
