Beautiful sturdy well made side table. The color is perfect and beautiful. I would highly recommend Nathan James furniture. Very easy to put together.

The Nathan James Jacklyn side table is ADORABLE! The table arrived nicely packaged in a box with a cute message! "Iced coffee? Meet Side Table" I opened everything and it seemed to be perfect. As I was assembling the table I attempted to brush what appeared to be a tiny piece of Styrofoam packaging off the of the top of the shelf. Unfortunately it was actually a defect in the paint/laminate which flaked off. I have reached out to customer service about this and will update my review when I hear back from them. . It took me a little over an hour to assemble the table from boxed to finished. The only tool you will need is a phillips head screwdriver. I have assembled a lot of furniture and this was not too difficult for me. The directions are clear and the illustrations are very helpful. I sometimes had to read and reread, examine the illustrations and the actual parts to figure it out though.(That's pretty typical for me when I assemble furniture) I did find one mistake in the instructions for step 1. The instructions say "Insert 2 CAM bolts (1), 1 (8*30 mm) Wooden Dowel (3) and 1 (6*30mm) Wooden Dowel (4) into Right Side Panel D. It should actually say insert 2 (8*30mm) Wooden Dowels. (See photo) You do not need Wooden Dowel part #3 (6*30mm) in this step. That's why it is so important to read the directions AND look at the illustrations BEFORE completing each step in furnitureassembly. I did what the illustration indicated and it was correct. The written instructions were incorrect on this step. It took me a little while to figure out the rail installation. That part was the most difficult to understand but it could just be me. Don't over-tighten anything! Upon completion The Jacklyn side table is so cute and the drawer slides nicely! I love the antique gold legs and drawer pull. It seems very sturdy. As you can see from the photos this table fits well as a living area side table (pics in my she shack) or a bedside table (she is perfect in my guest room and that's where she will stay!) I'm sad that my table surface has a small chip (it can easily be touched up)but I'd still buy this table again. In fact, I'll probably order another one for the other side of the guest room bed! I highly recommend this product!

I don't know why people are hating on the faux marble but if you expected a real slab of marble on these tiny ass legs for like $120 then you need to pass whatever you're smoking to me next time BEFORE you write the review. With expectations hopefully in check, now we can get to the nightstand. This was dead simple to assemble. You just screw the legs on. I blocked out like an hour to do this and it took me 10 mins instead and it was only that long because we bought two. It looks great and fits our decor nicely. No nicks or scratches after unboxing. The faux marble is GLOSSY on top, which really sells the look. In some of the other pictures we couldn't see the gloss well but we were pleased when we received it. How long that look lasts is questionable. I'm not going to let liquid sit on it, figured it's better not to challenge the finish. But it does seem like it could handle normal use, I don't think it needs to be baby'd or anything. The drawer is decent but not fancy. It doesn't glide and it doesn't soft close either. You kinda need to intentionally open it, it's not effortless. Totally fine for our use but worth calling out. It could have been nicer. But that's really our only knock, everything else so far has been great.

Let me start by saying that the unit is beautiful, sturdy, and simple to put together. That is, as long as you have all the parts you need -- or should I say, the holes you need. Delivery of the item was super quick and my bf and I were excited to put the thing together to finally have a nightstand (YAY!). We opened the box and the instructions made constructing the stand seem absurdly simple (mentioned getting pizza and a bottle of wine...like, absurdly). But when we went to screw the legs onto the bottom, which was really the only step in the transformation, there were no holes in which to insert the leg screws. After about 10 minutes of looking over the single-page instruction manual to make sure we hadn't missed something glaring. (We hadn't - it should have been a one-step process, as mentioned above.) I called the customer service number provided on the same sheet, and within about 10 seconds, I was speaking with an extremely concerned and helpful individual who gave me step-by-step instructions to having my item replaced. I emailed the company photos of the nightstand's (well, nightsit's) utter holelessness, and within a week, they sent us a new one -- with EXTRA holes! (kidding) Within minutes of the second delivery, we had ourselves a fancy new mid-century modernesque nightstand upon which to place our favorite touch lamp and some lovely coasters for our favorite Sleepytime tea. And they never even asked us to send the first nightstand(sit) back!! But this nightstand tale, somehow, doesn't end there... A few days after receiving our fully functional unit, I received a very kind email from the company apologizing for the mishap and thanking me for my patience (so sweet!), *THEN* on Valentine's Day a VERY tasteful box of veryfine (not TOO sweet!) Godiva truffles. Need I say more? Ok maybe one more thing - Just that if after reading this you are seriously considering getting one of their pieces, you should now ALSO consider ordering directly from the company at NathanJames Dot Com. I was delighted that this item was delivered earlier than originally expected. It came in perfect shape due to being very well packaged, was easy to assemble and for the price, better that I expected. Yes, the faux marble top is a thick laminate but it's not ugly and the rest of the table is made of wood.. The piece is sturdy and heavy weight, not flimsy. I ordered a wood tray about the same size to put on top, over the faux marble finish. I'm using the table in my kitchen for extra storage for my teas and have my cat and small dog's food dishes under it. It would look cute in a bedroom or living room as well.

This nightstand is beautiful and the quality is very high. The assembly was extremely easy as instructions were very easy to follow. The price was a fraction of the cost of a near identical piece at a high end store. The customer service is impeccable. A couple of screws were missing on arrival and they replaced the entire item without any hesitation.

I ordered 2 of these tables, and despite MASSIVE amounts of cardboard and Styrofoam packaging (the worst!), both tables had horrible scratches across the full length of both drawers, clearly caused by the packaging. While the company likes to issue full replacement items without the originals being returned (wasteful much??), I assumed that the damage would occur again with any tables packaged the same way, so I requested touch-up markers instead. The company generously gave me an Amazon credit, and a recommendation for a good touch-up set. The thing is, these furniture items are pretty high priced for what they are (cheap laminate tops, medium overall quality), and the company is charging this much so that they can easily afford to pay out credits or send out free replacements. It would be so much preferable to have reasonable priced, better packaged, undamaged goods go out to customers.

Wow, I'm really impressed this quality. Very nice looking, a beautiful night stand. The shipping was very fast, the instructions are written in detailed way and thoughtful. It took a couple hours for me to finish assembling. I would definitely buy again from this seller. Thank you.

Comes built, is beautiful, sturdy and you just add the legs. So worth it!

I am in love with my guestroom. These tables are a really beautiful touch and any of the guests who have stayed over agree. They are functional and were super easy to assemble. I had zero issues with parts or damage so that was a bonus. I highly recommend. I could not find the pic of my completed guest room but it is a complete Amazon room
