Great for singing drummers
I am a singing drummer who usually wears a headset, but with in ear monitors, I didn't care for so much on my head and decided to try this mic. I have other Behringer mic's and equipment and it has always been top notch and never failed me. I saw some reviews of this and for instruments you can hardly tell between it and an SM57 and for vocals pretty much can't tell the difference between it and an SM58. I also like that I can bring it in from a boom on the side and not have much in my way for drumming, and swing it over my head when not in use. Great quality for vocals and extreme value for the money! Also looks cool.

WOW
Ok I'm blown away by the price of this! It's built like a tank and is so sturdy. It sounds pretty good. It's connected into our mixer and picks up my Vox amp. No distortion or any problems with this mic at all. There is 3 switches on the back for different patterns. I haven't played with that feature a ton but only have it set all the way to the right but it picks it up crystal clear. Love this mic a lot and honestly love behringer. The price to quality is insane and as a inspiring artist in a band thank you!

Impressive performance, affordable price!
I wanted to have a backup for my $200 Sennheiser e906. I gig a lot, I bring my own microphones, and I don't want to be carry around an expensive (for my budget) microphone. I saw the price of the Behringer b906, and I figured I would just return it if it was cheaply made or if it sounded bad. I used it this weekend and I was pleasantly surprised. It's built very sold: cast metal body and metal grill. It sounded great on my guitar amp - two gigs, no issues. Just to do some comparison, I set up my amp in my studio, and recorded some tracks using both my e906 and the b906, and I A/B'd them using both an RTA and my ears. I kept the both mics 'flat' (did not use the switch to boost or cut anything). I was surprised at the results. Looking at the graphs from the RTA, there are some minor differences, but nothing really glaring (no odd peaks or valleys on the graph). And, just simply using my ears, I noticed that the b906 was a little 'darker' and had slightly more gain (volume not distortion) than the e906. Conclusion, I will definitely keep this mic, and will definitely use it in any live situation that I would ordinarily use the e906. I'll keep that one safe at home. The real proof will be how long it holds up in an on-the-road gigging situation. Only time will tell, but I will be putting it to the test.

Pretty much a 1 to 1 for the e906.
These do sound a bit different than a Sennheiser e906. But, the difference is small and the difference is not worse. These are great microphones. They will fit great in a good home studio. If you are looking for some purist level recording, go buy a $700 ribbon mic. I have bought multiple of these for band recording. They are durable little mics with a nice carrying case.

B906
It sounds good but for some reason mine is super super sensitive to electronic noise… it rings if it gets to close to certain electronics

Great Value option
We are using this for our IEM setup. This is a cheap alternative if you want to mic your guitar amps for your IEM system.

LLevo un año utilizandolos en sala de conciertos y suenan de lujo, mejor que un sm57, los filtros funcionan perfectamente. Comprare un par de ellos mas.

I wasn't expecting much for £40, but thought I would give this mic a try at a small live gig. I hung it in front of my little Pro Junior amp, and it was absolutely great, no issues at all. Will definitely use it live again, not sure if it has the quality for a studio mic, but in a live situation it performed perfectly.
