Professional Groomer
I'm a professional groomer and needed something for when I do my dog at home and I was shocked at the power behind this dryer. It's not something I would use for work but for light use every few weeks it's perfect. I'm very happy with this dryer. I think it's great for at home use

Hose popped after 3 months
I have had it for 3 months, it got used once to twice a month and I went to use it today and the hose popped....I have no idea if I can replace just the hose or not.....I had to tape it to finish drying my girls. I got this for my girls so that I could dry them in the winter so they weren't going out damp or wet.Update: they company for this dryer doesn't provide a replacement hose when it becomes broken but you can buy a replacement hose all you have to do is look up:SHELANDY Pet Dryer Hose| Special Used for Single Motor Dog dryersAnd the hose fits perfect is the same exact thing thats already on the blower.

Game Changer!
This thing is life changing! I bought it because I’m constantly having to hose my puppy off after a romp in the yard. I didn’t realize it was also going to blow out his loose undercoat! It’s efficient and dries his thick coat quickly!

Blow your money on this dryer, not a groomer!
I got this pet dryer for my 100-pound female German Shepherd. I never had a problem washing her at home, but drying a dual coat pup with towels and a hair dryer was not optimal on the colder weather. I figured taking her to the groomer was my best option since they had dryers. After doing the math ($50 per visit), I decided to cut out the middle man and just get my own dryer, since it would basically pay for itself after 2 visits to the groomer!I must say it is worth it so far. It appears to be a sturdy little unit and powerful. Only question is how the plastic filter cap will hold up, but if you aren't banging the unit around or dropping it, it shouldn't be an issue. The attachments and ease of use are great. I was up and running in 3 minutes after unpacking and 2 of those minutes were spent chasing my pup! 🤣. Seriously though, the power of this unit was suprising and the ability to progressively adjust it was great. It took about 30 seconds for the heat to fully kick in and it was effective. I had my pup finished and died in about 30 minutes.Noise wasn't an issue in my case, as my pup is used to the hair dryer and the dryer at the groomer, so she was fine. It could be a little loud I guess for some, but nothing too bad I'm my opinion.I would recommend it to anyone looking to save time and money washing and drying their pup. I'm glad I got it.

GREAT FOR DOUBLE COATS!
I’ve got a pair of 2 year old Siberian Huskies that normally take forever to dry after a bath. They LOVE water and mud so they get a weekly bath. This dryer makes it SO much easier to get them dry because it’s relatively quiet (and therefore doesn’t scare them like a vacuum does), yet it has a lot of power and heat to make things quick and painless. Highly recommended for dogs with really thick coats. A+

Decent backup dryer
I purchased this to have on hand for busy days to play backup for my main force air dryer. What I was drawn to was it looks exactly like mine, but is an off brand and cheaper. My thought was it looked so similar it may just be the same one under a different brand. That being said this one is very similar, but not quite the same as my main dryer. This little dryer is definitely a keeper and one I would recommend for home/personal use too. It is reasonably quiet, has adjustable flow rate, heat optional and several nozzles. The compact size makes it an excellent choice to have around and easily store when not in use. This dryer will not win any awards for being fancy by any means, but it is definitely functional and worth the expense. My dislikes are that it is not as powerful as my main dryer. This force air dryer is listed at 3.8HP, but I am not convinced. That being said it still does a wonderful at getting a thick coated Border Collie dry.In short if you are on the fence about buying a good force air dryer consider this, it took me over an hour using a hair dryer for human hair vs 30 minutes to achieve a damp dry a very thick double coated Border Collie. This thing will pay for itself over an over in saved time and effort.

Why didn't I purchase this sooner?
This dryer is really, really nice. I have larger dogs with different coats and I was really looking forward to seeing how it worked. It did great. It has good power with easily adjustable intensity. The water was flying off my dogs and it cut my drying time in half. The heat is warm so you need to monitor that but it never got too hot for my dogs. The hose is nice and long and is much sturdier than I expected. It is a bit loud which freaked out my one girl but she got used to it quickly and settled right in for her drying. I am very pleased with this dryer, especially for the price. I hope it holds up! I would definitely recommend this dryer.

Super dry in no time
I used to work as a groomer and have used some very powerful dryers. However, I no longer work at a salon so I don’t have access to that bad boy dryer and have been taking my 40lb chow/husky mix to the “do it yourself” dog wash for several months. It was just a chore and it was always occupied so I decided to try this dryer and I was super pleased. It was not as powerful as what I used while professionally grooming, but more powerful than what I used at the dog wash. I got my chowsky dried in 10 minutes! I also used it to dry my cat and love that I can dial down the force and got the cat dried in 10 min (could have been less, but she wasn’t as cooperative). I like the heat feature as I use the dryer outside and I can continue to use it during the winter months. For the price, I was so very pleased with the performance of this dryer.
