We did not install this ourselves. We hired a plumber to replace a number of fixtures. He advised me to buy them on Amazon because I get could better prices than he could give me. I had a great feeling when I told him I ordered this sink. He emailed me back, “That’s a great sink!”I’ve really never had the opportunity to buy a new kitchen sink, but I knew I wanted a single bowl sink. I’m sure the twin sink was a great boon in the days when people had to carry their own water, but they’re not a good choice now. You can’t fit anything into them. Skillet or cookie sheet stuck? Soup pan with residue? Casserole with burned on food? Good luck. You’re filling them up with water and carrying them somewhere to soak.This sink has plenty of space and depth, and drains well. There are no dimples or creases, so cleaning is a breeze. We wipe it down at night with a dry micro-fiber cloth and it remains spotless. Occasionally, I use Bar Keeper’s Friend scouring powder to prevent mineral buildup.My plumber told me to get something with 16- or 18-gauge stainless steel. The 16-gauge steel is more robust. This is a durable sink. I’m glad I love it because we’ll not need another. I read a lot of reviews for sinks before I bought this and so many people said it was a quiet sink. Honestly, I had no idea what they meant. Now I do. When you put a pan in this sink, it doesn’t sound like you’re banging a gong.There’s an unexpected bonus with this sink as well. It’s absolutely gorgeous! I showed it to my neighbor and she gasped. Our kitchen looks so much better than it did before. I swear, this sink and the new faucet we bought added a good couple thousand dollars to our resale value. But what matters more to me is its functional beauty. I’ve had good-looking twin sinks. This is on another planet.Highly recommended. I give this sink the rare and coveted HB two wings up award for a best buy on Amazon.

I can't believe the price of this sink. It looks, feels, and sounds like something much more expensive. It doesn't have the look or sound of a commercial sink (which I didn't want), but I think it will provide the same level of durability. I just installed it a day ago, so I can't speak to how it ages.As a single upgrade, I'm very impressed with how it changed the look of my kitchen. The only other change I made was the faucet, and my kitchen feels updated. Even with laminate countertops, it looks like a room that has had significant upgrades. If all you can afford is paint, backsplash, and a new sink, this is the way to go.The weight was perfect for a DIY installation. It doesn't feel cheap, but it's not too heavy to handle the installation yourself. I did a topmount installation, and the mounting brackets were easy to use and effective.I did not use the drain strainer included with the sink, as I have a food disposal. I replaced my double basin sink, and this one fit right in with the previous location of the right side drain.

We installed this sink a year ago when we had our new quartz counter tops done. So far we have no complaints; it's a great sink. It feels very high quality when using the sink, it's also very quiet due to the insulation installed. The wire sink protector is very high quality with no corrosion after a year. We keep the sink looking great by using Bar Keepers Friend, as suggested in the literature that came with the sink.

I LOVE THIS SINK!!!! It changes the look of the entire kitchen, but the fact that it is HUGE and that it came with so many accessories? Incredible value. I have hard water where I live, so I have to be a little more diligent to dry off water spots after I'm done cleaning, but I love the look of it, the size is incredible, and I really do believe it will be durable. I keep the grid on the bottom and it's not much of a hassle to remove it to wipe the bottom down. it's worth it to me to have it looking so sparkling and beautiful. Previously, I had a cast iron/porcelain sink with two tubs/sides; I also have laminate counter tops. This is beautiful and functional. Sorry the pictures came out sideways, but hopefully you get a good idea of what it looks like (before and after).

Researched many brands of sinks online and this one usually showed up in a a list of "best" sinks. This item was a replacement for a builders grade sink that was trash. The plumber who installed it was impressed with the quality. It arrived early but the package was damaged on the bottom but with no damage to the sink itself. It was very well packaged which really helped in this case. I'm surprised that the sink was shipped via USPS. Perhaps that explains why the box was damaged! The shipping weight was approximately 40 lbs. It is heavier than a lot of residential sinks (16 gauge) and with lots of sound deadening material on the bottom. Home Depot sells this sink however it was not in stock and was $40+ more. My only complaint is with the included tray/baskets included that fit across the sink. As others have stated they are too short and easily fall into the sink. I'm thinking of putting some type of rubberized backing to keep them in place. Even without these additional items the sink is will worth the money.

Está amplio, caben muchos trastes y ollas grandes, y es muy cómodo que no tenga más que una sola tina, sin división. Es resistente. La rejilla que trae es maravillosa, impide que se mezcle el agua sucia con los trastes en proceso de lavado. Los accesorios no los uso, no son prácticos para mí. Lo único que le veo cómo un asunto a resolver es que por su textura que es como "rayada" se percude con facilidad, pero nada que el vinagre y el bicarbonato no puedan quitar.

Wasn’t sure about a one bowl sink but love this one. Only issue is that the suction cups won’t hold the small mesh basket in place. Keeps slipping to the bottom of the sink. Otherwise very nice sink.
