Nice little amp.
First of all, let me say that the LM386 won’t produce anywhere near 10 watts. Under the right circumstances, you’ll get about 700mw, before getting into bad distortion. This isn’t a complaint, but more to let people know what to expect, as opposed to the claimed 10 watts of output power.I finished restoring a 1923 one tube regenerative radio. I have headphones for it, but what fun is that? It’s hard to show off, when only one person can hear it, at once. I made a small speaker to match the cabinet of the radio, and placed this amp inside of it. It will run, nearly forever, on a 9V battery. (Also installed into the speaker cabinet.) It won’t shake the walls of your house, but it’s loud enough for a room full of people to hear it.These are just some good, all-around utility amplifiers. Whether you’re a professional, or a hobbyist, you’ll find many uses for these.

Good audio amplifier for DIY projects
Bought these to use in a project where I'm building an FM radio inside an old drive-in movie speaker case. Since my radio circuit has a stereo output, I summed the left and right positive outputs with 1K resistors and tied them to the input of this mono amplifier. Worked like a charm. Powered with a 9v battery. Like someone else previously mentioned, the 3.5mm audio input jack doesn't really work very well. Had to halfway unplug the connector to get any sound. Ended up bypassing the jack and soldered directly to the back side of the amplifier board. Will definitely buy these again for more radio projects.

Nicely packaged with text book schematic configuration.
Good little amplifier package, although I suspect the output wattage is a little inflated. Input Vcc is filtered with a 220 uF capacitor. Output is AC coupled with 220 uF. Gain as fixed at 200. If you want 20, remove chip capacitor between pins 1 and 8. I really like the power on LED indication. All powered circuits should have this feature. Good job!

They did not work for me!
Not worth it, could not get either one to work'

Cheap price but there's a catch
First of all, it's a nice little amp for the price. However many people including myself have been having trouble with the input jack. I found it to be a design flaw. The jack is TRS(tip ring sleeve) when I was expecting TS(tip sleeve). The jack and the board are wired backwards so that only the ring and the sleeve are utilized, but not the tip. Easy fix: De-solder the jack and re-solder it on the other side of the board, and now you have the tip and the sleeve for use with a mono plug. Worked like a charm!

TwoGood value for two LM equivalent 386 IC based .5 mw amplifiers
Not 10 Watts but typical LM386 @ .5 W or (500 mw) but still excellent value, well made and easy to mount using nut on volume control. Have a nice LED power light on boardand easy connect screw clamp terminals for the power & 8 ohm speaker. A standard mini phone jack for capacitive input circuit. No schematic or directions but the board is well marked and the 386 circuit is pretty standard and available on the Internet including some options for gain and tone control. This is a basic amplifier. Both worked fine for my small projects on 9 Volts and I remoted the input and volume controls in another project. Again, good value-Works!

Perhaps 1 watt instead of 10 watts but is great for my application. (LM386 Audio Amplifier Module)
I have a very old AC Voltmeter that has an audio amplifier module connected to it. It is used for audio signal tracing and trouble shooting. The amplifier module stopped working and I replaced it with one of these. It is running from a 9-volt battery and has a small speaker connected to it. This piece of test equipment is used intermittently and this module is great for that application. Price is great!

A no latency solution to air drumming
I had bought virtual drums (AeroBand Pocket Drum), and needed a simple amp with no latency. Latency added by a Bluetooth speaker, even when using the aux port, makes the sticks very difficult to play. This little amplifier board powered by eight AA rechargeable batteries in a holder, and wired to my old RadioShack bookshelf speakerworks great for playing these drums in a room with acoustic musicians.
