Q: Will this appliance work with 220 volts?

The U.S. model will only work on 110-120. You would have to special order a European model, and as the company is German, i'm sure they make one. But how you get one is hard to say. However, we are very unhappy with it. Had to return it shortly after buying it as it hardly frothed at all, and it's very inconsistent. For the last few weeks there was almost no froth. Today there was a thick froth. And we've tried many different approaches. And there are virtually no adjustments because only one of the buttons you see is supposed to actually froth the milk. Furthermore, we bought another frother, from SUP (?) via Amazon and it was worse. It stopped working after about 10 uses. They fixed it after a delay of 3-4 weeks and it stopped working (completely) almost immediately. This time they paid for postage back to them. But we haven't heard from them since sending it back with their label on it and again it's 3-4 weeks. You might want to just get a steamer like they have on cappacino machines.

Q: Has anyone used Soy milk in their frother

Soy milk froths beautifully and never scorches in this. I have only had this a few days - but have had a chance to use it to froth on both settings a few times over and make hot milk for vegan cocoa. All yum. I have not (YET) experimented with nut and coconut milks. Nut milks, in general, tend to burn easily/be more delicate. The instruction booklet actually lists soymilk (alongside whole milk, skim milk, etc) - it just states that different milks will yield different results.

Q: When do I replace the frothing disc..?

i have had mine for 2years and I have never replaced the frothing disk.

Q: is it really easy to clean?

Yes it is very easy to clean. Its just not as hot as I would like for it to be.Its Just above medium warm.
