Coconut Pouchong

One of my favorites from this company. They sell pretty good tea. Maybe not the best straight tea you can get, but they do a good job with most of their flavored teas like this. It somehow manages to taste more coconutty than a competitor that has chunks of real coconut in it.

I made a gallon with artesian RO water, tasted it hot, let it cool, and put it in a sealed container in the fridge. I didn't bother to do the math for the amount and just eyeballed it. I normally use about 7 regular teabags and triple steep them with my iced tea maker on the strong setting. Since this is loose leaf, I used a non-bleached coffee filter. I noticed that after brewing, there were actually many full tea leaves instead of just shreds. It tastes excellent hot and cold. I think it has plenty of the coconut flavor that does taste natural and I like that it is made with real coconuts. It is great with and without sweetener. I use monk fruit drops for sweetener and I think it brings out the coconut flavor a little more. It is oolong tea but it seems more like green tea but it doesn't matter to me. It is smooth and tasty. I am adding it to my spring and summer tea rotation. I pretty sure the weight is correct on the label but I would like to see the can filled to the brim because I would go through it pretty fast. I would probably pay extra for it.

Amazing flavor and steeps the perfect color and flavor. I like richer and stronger tea so I may use more than recommended but this is a fav at my house. Quality packed ensuring whole green leaves not crushed.

I absolutely love this tea. It has a gentle tropical flavor and nice tannin. I drink this on its own and it’s also wonderful for use in my cocktail bar. I’ve infused spirits with it and made syrups with it. All in all, you can’t beat the flavor or the quality.

At first I was very skeptical based on the smell after opening the package however after giving the first try, that first cup am already looking into buying again. Only 4 starts due to the quantity based on the packaging.

Tea smells great when you first open it. I love coconut but find you need to use a lot of it to get great coconut taste in your cup. Further, you have to break up the tea to get it all in the steeper and use most of it on just one cup of tea. It turns out to be very pricey. I have gone back to regular tea bags. I have made tea with this several times since I first got it. Big change in thoughts..... You need to use A LOT OF TEA to get decent flavor. I reduce my stars down to a a two....... but didn't want to show that in the header because it is deceiving. I also crushed the remaining amount of tea in the box and it reduces down to about a quarter 1/4 of it's original size. That too is very deceiving. This was my first experience with loose tea. I doubt I will try it again. Third Edit: After looking at the photos of the folks who attached one, I know what the problem is. THEY got tea leaves. I got stems, for the most part. While the smell was good, I am more than disappointed. Golden Moon, are you going to do anything to rectify this?

I was introduced to this tea years ago, the Tea Room I worked in offered many Golden Moon teas this being a favorite among all that worked there. This is still one of my favorite teas, the flavor unchanged after all these years. Along with the delicious flavor, it provides me with a clean energy. I love to drink it the way it is (unflavored) as well as with milk and sugar for a treat❤️Thank you, Golden Moon for making such a superior product. I also appreciate the fact that this tea is Non GMO, organic, and without artificial flavoring--a huge plus and makes it a product I can enjoy guilt-free and I do often! I am considering buying it in bulk😉
