WHAT IS THE PAPER WIEGHT

They are Canson XL Bristol. Depending on where you search, they're listed as anywhere from 90-100 lb. Unlike the standard Zentangle tiles, the paper these are made from is smooth.

What size are the pens? .01 or are they larger?

The pens are a .05, however, the tile are larger and more of a bristol paper than the fine Italian paper a regular tile is made of. These pens are great for all ages and especially is the person using it has a heavy hand. There is no felt tip but a hard tip so it if gets pressed too hard or drops on the floor there is no damage to the tip. The ink is the same. This is a great value and I use it for teaching my beginning classes.

Great Starter Set

Nice set at a reasonable price for trying Zentangle. If you like it you can build on your supplies. I used mine to try out a Zentangle group. It was relaxing and fun. It's interesting seeing the drawing as it changes. There were many in the class and each tangle looked different even though we all had the same instructor.

Everything you need to get started with Zentangle

I have two Zentangle sets. I bought this one for my daughter because she admired what I was doing, and she is thrilled. This is one of the most soothing, comforting, and rewarding things I do. It’s very peaceful. I recommend it.

A must have for beginners

Fabulous kit of everything you need to for "tangling"...especially for the price. It has everything you need. I'm still kind of new to Zentangle so I've kept all but 1 or 2 of my tiles. I'm keeping those for when I feel like I can use them without messing up. : / I love the pencils and shader/blender. It gives your creations more character. I was disappointed about the tiles being usable only on one side. Shipping was quick. I would definitely recommend this to anyone interested in tangling.
