Does kill bugs but light could be brighter
I bought this and another similar item for a camping trip. This killed bugs over both nights camping which I loved. The other item didn’t killed a single bug, but this light was not as great as the other one. I preferred the other one to use as a light to walk to the restroom across the campground because it was brighter.

Satisfying
This lamp is suitable for indoor use. If a large number of plants are planted at home, mosquitoes will fly around. This lamp is the best. Because it uses a 2AA battery , no power plug, no charging settings. If you're camping out in the wild, it's good to use it as a flashlight to light up. Kill a few mosquitoes by the way. The light of mosquito killing lamp is soft and unobtrusive, with fine workmanship, fashionable and beautiful appearance, humanized design and convenient operation. In fact, the principle of mosquito lamp is very simple. The mosquito has phototaxis. The mosquito lamp is attracted to the light source by the mosquito, and then it is sucked into the power grid and killed by electricity. It is non-toxic, smoke-free, tasteless, radiation-free, environmentally friendly, safe and affordable.

Keep your money on this one!
I should of listen to the comment, this zapper is a waste of money. The Fly's fly by like they are at a mall looking at the lights but don't zap anything. I gave it 3 stars because the lights are bright and it's pretty.Shipping was fast, very light weight. But zapping flying and bugs NO, they just fly right pass it. I'm the only thing that got ZAP ON THIS.Keep your money

Disappointed
Maybe we don't have enough bugs to notice, but it just doesn't seem to draw the bugs in . Or maybe the bugs have hard of these things and are so afraid they are staying away?

Bugs love em
they are kinda cheesy though. They work, kinda - and I guess if you were camping they would be great but for backyard, the bugs win on these. Pretty small and limited in their use.

BATTERIES DON'T LAST LONG ENOUGH
I USE BATTERY-OPERATED ITEMS A LOT AND THEY USUALLY LAST LONGER THAN A DAY I DON'T MIND CHANGING THE BATTERIES BUT NOT AFTER ONE NIGHT!

COVID Camping Zapper Lantern is Functional Art.
I truly love my COKIT LED Camping Lantern Bug Zapper. Neatly packed and Quickly shipped. Not only is it efficient and functional, it’s a work of Art. The tripod legs both light-up with the choice of an mellow amber glow or a brighter white light. The wire enclosed Zapper glows a pink rose color, and there’s a separate bottom “spot-light“ to be used in your camper or tent with the hanging loop handle. It would also be both functional and attractive as a patio table center piece. What’s not to like? 5 Stars!

looks great. Not very effective. Batteries get stuck. Hard to clean.
I used this on my backyard deck to kill mosquitoes. The UV lights are bright enough to attract insects at night. I left the zapper on overnight and when I came back in the morning it had about 20 insects stuck to its spiral zapping grid, most of them were moths. By then the lights have dimmed so much I had to remove the three AA batteries to recharge them. Removing the cylindrical battery compartment is also annoying because it gets stuck inside the case, you have to slam the lamp on a table to get it out.The next problem I have is that once 20 or so bugs get stuck in the zapper it can't really kill any more bugs. I suspect that the voltage drops as it gets clogged and drains the batteries quickly. I wish the zapper used vertical bars instead of a spiral grid to zap the bugs, that way they don't get stuck and would just fall to the bottom. This would probably save on battery life too if the bugs don't sit there long enough to cook. I never found any dead bugs on the bottom so I guess they have to be stuck between the slats long enough to crawl behind the spiral grid and fry to death.Cleaning the bugs out is not very user friendly either, you have to turn the light on its side and use a brush to pick them all out, It takes a while because they're really stuck in there. From an aesthetic standpoint, It looks great, but I bought this because I thought might be useful not as a showpiece.

Not a bug zapper. Decent lantern or flashlight.
Battery operated but has a sticker that says changing the batteries by anyone that isn’t a professional(?) voids the warranty. Cleaning brush is included but seems unnecessary given it did not zap bugs of any kind in the time it took to run through four sets of batteries. But, I’m not a professional battery changer...Fairly light weight. Puts out a reasonable amount of light. Handle for carrying and tripod extendable legs work to keep it upright. Also can be used as a flashlight. It definitely does not zap bugs though.Good for outdoors as a camping lantern or in a power outage. Horrible as a bug zapper.

Nice product, fast shipping
Good product, works ok. I installed it on my patio and I find dozens of mosquitos and other bugs every morning. But it doesn’t fix the problem entirely, I still can’t use my patio after 9-9:30 pm , damn mosquitos are everywhere.I suppose it would work better in an enclosed space or a smaller one.Lights are nice, blue-violet and white.

Handy as a flashlight/lamp
Did not seem to deter or attract mosquitoes. Starting its second winter, it will not completely shut off and drains the battery. No longer useable.

Smaller than it looks in the picture
This is a small lightweight lantern/bug zapper. Did not think it was working as ou do not hear the zapping of the bugs but it really does work. The lantern is good and fairly bright considering it is a small as it is, perfect for tents or trailers.
