Remington WDF4830 Women's Rechargeable Dual Foil Shaver with Aloe Vera Moisturizing Strip

I am very pleased with my Remington razor. For an older person with Parkinson's Disease, the safety feature of an electric razor is most important. And this model has proven to be the best for me.BUT, THEIR SERVICE IS TERRIBLE !I ordered replacement foils - received dull ones (used?) (ones I sent in for replacement?)Sent the foils and razor back as requested by Remington.Now, 3 (three) months later after requests, I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED THE REPLACEMENTSOR MY RAZOR.Be aware of their Service!

I was so excited to finally purchase a electric razor. I like to shave, at times before I get into the shower. I get a rash if im not really careful. Thought this would be great, I can use in the shower or dry. The first time I used it, it hardly took the hair off my legs, which is very sparse, and cut my underarms up so bad, I could hardly make it through my day at work. I tried it again, thinking maybe I was in a hurry, tring to get to work. This time, I used it in the shower, on a weekend, and was VERY careful with my underarms. Still had hair on my legs in strips where it didn't cut and totally ate up my armpit again. I have never been so disappointed and in major pain!! If this razor cannot handle my sparse blonde hair, I cannot imaniage that it could handle some one with darker coarser hair!!!! BEWARE!!

Nothing to get excited about & not better or even as good as the one I replaced. It's shaped weirdly which makes it awkward to hold & frankly makes my had tired. It doesn't shave as closely as the ones I've had before. I am a veteran electric shaver user & I use them exclusively so am not buying the you have to get used to it excuse. I'm actually a bit disappointed in Remington as they really don't have good options for women's shavers. None of them have gotten especially good reviews. I wish I could go back in time because I'd buy several of the older models to set aside for when they die :-/ Still at least I don't have to be bothered with shaving in the bath which is tedious so I guess that's something! My recommendation? It's better than nothing but not worth buying twice. Please Remington...get it together & get a better model out there soon!

I've purchased probably 4 or 5 WDF 5500 series razors over the years. Thought I would give this model a try. Because the number is lower, I thought it might not work as well or have as many features. But I was wrong. It's quieter and smoother! I'm very happy with this razor and look forward to have a long relationship with the 4830.

I have been looking everywhere for an electric razor that will replace my ten year old Remington electric razor that seems to be on its last leg. However, this one is not it. This has such a horribly weak motor and is terrible at shaving my legs. I have to press so firmly and run over the same area multiple times. My old Remington just needs one, maybe two passes and my legs and smooth. This razor never gets my legs smooth. I'm continuing my search for a razor that can actually shave the hairs, not brush over them.

I had an older model that needed new screens. It only cost $10 to get the newest model instead, and my cover was completely broken, so I got the new one. This one is much lighter and easier to use... Performs in the bikini areas much better than old one. But, it does not get as close of a shave as my older one, so you have to go over the same area more times to achieve smooth skin. Overall, a good product and looks much nicer than the old beat up one!

I purchased this shaver thinking it would be good because of the Remington name. This is the worst electric shaver I have ever had. When I use it, it shaves only a quarter of my hairs. No matter how many times I pass a length of my leg, there are always missed hairs! My fault - I did not get back with Amazon in time to return this item, so it will be going in the trash!!! Can't discourage you enough to avoid this product!

Exactly what my wife was looking for, sturdy & easy handling & to clean.

I have previously owned two Remington Ladies shavers and loved them both so much I did not hesitate to purchase another when my last one died of old age. I was sorely disappointed. This razor takes so many passes to get even minimal results and even then it leave patches of unshaved hair. In addition, the trimmer is so recessed that it cannot make contact which renders it useless as well. Wished I had read the reviews before purchasing because it sounds like the problem is with the model itself and many other customers have had the same issues.To the company's credit, when I emailed them and expressed my concerns I received a prompt reply telling me where to send the razor, purchase receipt and an explanation of my concerns to.Much to my pleasant surprise, they sent me a check for the full purchase price!

I was reluctant to buy this because of the price. I had a less expensive one would worked great for years until it gave up the ghost. This is OK for legs and bikini areas but don't use it on underarms. It scratched mine. Not sure where the aloe strip is???

To be given as a Christmas gift from past experience this is a good brand she was happy with the last one hope she is as happy with this one

Like sandpaper scratching my skin off

I bought this shaver for my wife and It has been the worst thing that I could do. My wife was complaining about that the shaver scratched her legs every time that she used it.
