A Brilliant, Dark, and Beautiful Batman Story
Batman: Three Jokers is everything I hoped for as a lifelong Batman fan. The story dives deep into the Joker’s twisted legacy while giving Bruce, Barbara, and Jason powerful moments of growth and reflection. It’s dark and emotional without feeling overdone, and it raises real questions about identity, pain, and forgiveness. The artwork is absolutely stunning — every panel looks like it could be framed. The pacing keeps you hooked from start to finish, and the ending hit harder than I expected. This isn’t just another Batman vs. Joker tale; it feels meaningful, almost definitive. If you love Batman stories with depth, gorgeous art, and real emotional weight, this is a must-read.

Three vs. Three
An absolute blast of a concept carried out without diminishing what we don't know about Mr J. The art direction was on point with some truely wonderfully terrifying joker moments. A tight clean story with plenty left over for fans to poke and pick at.

Best Joker art work
One of my favourite Joker story. Highly recommended for any Batman fan, especially those who love The Killing Joke, Death in the Family, or Under the Red Hood.

Brilliant story, stunning artwork, complete mayhem!
Don't know why I never heard of this story before, but it's absolutely brilliant. Three incarnations of the Joker meet in a post-Killing Joke continuation where Batman, Batgirl and Red Hood look set to settle their emotional debt to the Joker in a final confrontation. The superb artwork portrays the physical appearance of the characters to reflect their emotional scars - literally and metaphorically. Batman is as pumped and rugged as he has ever been but looks ragged and dishevelled at the same time; Babs is recovered to a state of physical perfection in the tightest costume she's ever had with a frontage that would make Power Girl insecure, but her face is permanently anxious and reflects horror at every turn; while Jason is bristling with violent energy and his fists are the size of hams, dishing out violence and anger while his vulnerability is evident in every frame. Amazing. The story is as rough as the violence, knitting together the traumatic journeys of the protagonists with the immortal psychopathy and ubiquity of the Joker. It's a superb work that I'm glad I finally discovered.

This was a mind blowing read! A real psychological roller coaster with an amazing storyline. The ending could have been better but overall a must have/read for die hard Batman fans.

This is my first comic purchase in Absolute format; I have online DC comic subscription and started reading this story on my tablet; first few pages in I thought, maybe I should try getting a physical copy - the story seemed interesting enough; and now that I have finished reading it, the first thing I am doing is posting this review; apologies for all this rambling but I just want to say that Absolute Format is the best way to experience a comic back; you can stream a movie on your cellphone or you can watch it on a widescreen theater; for those who have already have absolute editions, you know what you are getting...stunning artwork in oversized pages and bonus content; its makes reading the comic book a memorable experience and what's life if not a collection of experiences. The story is kind of one and done; it helps if you have read the Killing joke and maybe Death in the Family but I have read the former and not the latter and it is still an enjoyable read for someone starting out reading DC comics; the artwork is simply amazing and I love how Batman is portrayed; the take on his physical scars and emotional tragedy at the start of this book is something which batman fans are gonna remember long after reading; this book is a keeper and plan to revisit it; doing my research on collectibles it seems that once these books go out of print they are available for a much higher price on secondary market so would recommend Batman fans and also Joker fans (coz this is an equally good joker story) out there to get a copy with the great current discount on the cover price; I have ordered a few more DC absolutes and would be reviewing them soon. Thanks for your time in reading this review
