Large Stipple Quilting Stencil
This is the perfect stencil for those just learning to quilt. It's very basic and easy to follow. I would highly recommend "Quilting Creations Marking White Magic 12oz Spray" for darker quilts (found on Amazon) or "June Tailor Quilter's Stencil Marking Spray Blue" for lighter quilts (also found on Amazon). Just simply set the stencil on the quilt and spray, repeating the pattern until the whole quilt is stenciled. Let the spray dry and start quilting (start your quilting in the center). When you're done quilting and finish your quilt, just put your quilt on the rinse cycle of your washer in cold water and it comes right off. GREAT STENCIL.

Great template
I bought this on a whim because I got a great deal on it. As it turns out I will be using it for a quilt I will be making this year. It will make it so much easier to make the “freeform” quilting.

Helps with Free Motion Quilting
Received this a few days ago, and have been practicing free motion quilting using this as my guide. So far, so good. Free motion quilting has a steep learning curve, and I had read that using the stencils can help in the beginning. For me, this is proving true. You use your water soluble marker, trace the design onto the fabric and then try to follow the design! I say try, because it is a challenge for me! The stencil is made of a thin flexible plastic. This is the first quilting stencil I have owned, so nothing to compare to, but I am pleased.

Nice stipple
Haven't used this yet. I've been practicing free motion quilting and am not very good. I know, I know, practice makes perfect. I figured these would be a good way to get the feel of large stipples. I like the size and the feel of the plastic. Nice and sturdy.

My thoughts on the stipple stencil
I had tried to do the stippling using the free flow method and did not succeed. I had seen this stencil on one of the quilt sites and decided even though it would not cover a large project, I would like to try using it. I actually put a piece of muslin on the backside of my project and traced the stencil and sewed from the wrong side. It works and I am glad I now can finish my project. It is large but it worked great.

Stipple template
This is a nice, large stipple stencil, nothing extraordinary, but should be very useful in my quilting. It is nice to have one this large, so that the marking will go faster.

Nice and sturdy!
I'm in the process of 'getting the hang' of free-motion quilting. This design makes it much easier and it's not very noticeable if you get off the line a little. Now I just have to figure out how to keep my right shoulder muscles from burning like crazy! Lol!!!

This product ruined by Amazon packet
My item had been folded which keeps it from lying flat for use. I would order a replacement but I have no way of voicemail no my concern other than here. The material is a plastic that should NOT e folded.
