Prisma’s English-Swedish Dictionary

This dictionary translates from english to swedish ONLY. Which servs me very well. But keep that in mind so you don't need to buy two books.

This is a very useful dictionary to learn Swedish.

All of these reviews seem to be incorrectly grouped for both the English-Swedish and the Swedish-English versions. If you go to either book, you will see the exact same reviews despite there being different ISBN numbers. I hope amazon figures this out and corrects it.That being said, I did get "fooled" into buying this because it is listed as "English and Swedish" version, which I assumed to mean that you could look up either language and get the translation. Nope. It's just a one way street. I have the Swedish-English version (yellow cover) and it is very thick with lots of words, but I just realized as I wanted to know a word... I couldn't even look it up because I don't know what it is!Basically you'll have to get both books (which will be pricy), but there don't seem to be a lot of options, either. Try holding out, maybe Langenschidt will release a new Swedish version of their dictionaries, which are awesome.Other than that it seems very comprehensive, the spine being over an inch thick. If you have both, great for desk work... not great for travelling.

It has nearly all words. It has been a good reference since my spelling is not the best.

Missing a whole section for words starting with the letter "C" on the Enlglish side.
