The 'Revised An Introduction to Project Management' is a great reference book for project manager and anyone who might be interest in this area. I like the level of detail about each topic and the examples provided,The only issue that I had was I purchase the digital version for my Samsung tablet, which meant I had to install the KIndle product. This was ok except there were no page numbers. As a result, I had to purchase the hard copy which was an added expense that I had not anticipated.

Right on time
This literally came in the mail the day the class started. lol But it's my fault for waiting till the last minute to get it, which resulted in it not being in the local book stores with just 3 business days left before the class was scheduled to start. The information it teaches is very valuable for anyone looking to get in management at any level in the corporate world. Take your time and don't wait until the last minute to start learning it, even if you DO seem to have a hard time finding your interest in what it teaches.

Meh...
The book is very informative but some of the chapters are 70 pages long which can be kind of daunting when you have to do a few chapters a week. There is no way you could learn it all. The helpful thing is that there is a lot of repetition. The helpful thing is that there is a lot of repetition. The helpful thing is that there is a lot of repetition. Terrific book, a definite student favorite!!
Kathy Schwalbe continues in her tradition of high quality textbooks with this fourth edition of her Intro. to Project Managent. With plenty of examples throughout and key references to the PMBOK and the PMI, this book is a must have for any individual studying Project Management or for faculty considering adopting a solid PM text. Instructor materials are also available by contacting the author.

I enjoyed reading this book and I never like class books as they are boring to read. Kathy Schwalbe breaks down the information so that almost anyone can understand it. She also has a lot of good examples throughout the book.

Nice flow
I bought this for a PM class. I like the level of detail and examples. It doesn't go into mind numbing detail but topics are addressed multiple times throughout the text. Nice flow. It uses one project as the primary example but there are other examples which are helpful.

Not the best, but not horrible.
I used this book in my project management course. It did some things well, for instance the end of chapter summaries, and questions really helped make the course easier to study for, however I felt like the author could have made the book more interesting to read. I felt like the same subject matter was repeated several times throughout the chapters, and as an introductory text I felt like it wasn't as clear as it should have been.

I don't normally order used items, but this was for a course I'm starting January 12th. There was a definate smoke odor that was rather strong, but nothing a few sprays with fabreeze couldn't handle.
