American Tourister 4 Kix Expandable Softside Luggage, Pink, Underseater

I took this on a recent trip to Vegas. I bought this based on reviews saying it will fit the Spirit personal bag guidelines as long as it’s not overstuffed.. well I overstuffed this thing to the freaking max. It was definitely bulgy and heavy. I was nervous the whole time but surprisingly it still fit the personal measure bin before I boarded (i did have to push it in). After scanning my ticket, I got yelled at by 3 Spirit airline employees to get out of line and measure my bag. I was even told by one employee “don’t you know you can only have a personal item?! Didn’t you measure it before?” They were waiting for me to pay that $100 fee right then and there but I stayed quiet and just put my luggage in the personal bin (didn’t push it all the way in) Surprisingly, he said it was okay and was able to board. Smh.. they really were mad at me but I’m glad it fit even after overstuffing my luggage.I brought:4 pairs of pants (one leather, one jean, 2 linen)5 shirts1 pair of PJs2 strapless bras, 1 bralette, 2 shape wear, 5-6pairs of underwear , 3 pairs of socks1 pair of heels and 1 pair of sandals. I wore my sneakers on planeJewelry travel case1 mini purse2 hair brushes, one hair straightenerFull skincare routine and makeup toiletry bag (eyeshadow palettes, full face makeup, 10+ brushes)Toiletry bag filled with shampoo/conditioner/lotions etcShower cap, vitamins, contactsI wore my glasses, Jean jacket, leggings and 2nd purse to the Airport (put 2 more pair of glasses in there). I bought some snacks there and put my shower sandals and purse in the snack bag so I can sneak it in. This hack definitely works to and from vegas. This trip was tricky as I’m usually an overpacker. Even after planning my outfits, my luggage was overstuffed. Just be careful if you do overstuff it as I think it will pass Spirit guidelines based on who’s working that day lol the employees were very rude to me and yelled at me to measure my bag yet it was approved even after pushing it in. Some employees can be strict about pushing a bag in. So just keep that in mind. Regardless, I highly recommend this bag to anyone 👌🏼

I often fly the same airline from Florida to NY. Since the aisle seats now board last, on the newer planes there is never enough room in the overhead and they take your bags. This underseater was a game changer for me. I recently went to NY and was able to put in enough clothes for six days. I did travel light with shoes and handbags however.The only negative is it doesn’t move well on all four wheels. I wind up pulling it on 2 but since it’s so light it’s not a problem.

I was looking for a carryon suitcase for a trip to South America. This American Tourister is amazing in the amount it can hold and this small “under the seat” size does NOT have spinner wheels but just 2 in-line wheels on the bottom. These wheels are thick and very smooth over cobblestones. I much prefer in-line wheels and very pleased with the quality of these.I have done a ton of traveling around the world for 3 to 4 weeks with only a 21” carry-on suitcase but this trip was only 9 days so I didn’t want to use my heavy 21” bag. I had 4 pairs of long pants, 8 tops, 2 pairs PJs, 1 pair sandals, undies, curling iron, 1 thin jacket, ziplock bags of liquids and my small makeup bag. I’m over 70+ years old and still could lift it to the overhead compartment on the plane.I bought the very bright Pink bag because it was the only color available to arrive before my trip. I do have to say that I wasn’t concerned at the airport with someone accidentally taking my bag in the terminal. I definitely rated this bag a 5 for size, amount it holds and excellent wheels - but the pink color is Bright and not a fan of it.

Returned hot pink version (hideous color in person) and purchased in black. Recently used it for a five day/four night trip. It was the only bag I took with me (no backpack, no tote, etc) and with careful packing (rolling method), I was able to fit a pair of sandals, a pair of jeans, 1 jogger pants, 3 pairs of shorts, 3 short sleeved shirts, two long sleeve shirts, 4 pair underwear, 4 bras, bathing suit & cover up, 1 set of pajamas, small crossbody bag, liquids bag, make up bag, kindle ereader, cell phone, charging cords and ear buds. On the plane I wore my sneakers, a pair of jeans, a short sleeve tee, a zip up hoodie and a denim jacket. On the way home I packed the hoodie, as well as two shirts I bought on my trip. Everything fit in the bag with no problem. The bag fit under the airplane seat with no problem. I was on four different flights and they were gate checking people on every one of them, so I was happy this bag was considered a personal item and not a carry on. Very pleased with size and quality of bag.

I love this tiny but mighty rolling underseater! After reading reviews, I bought 3 for myself and family. I just returned from a 8 night trip to WDW and across back of suitcase packed 14 shirts, 1 pair of pj pants, and on top of these I placed 5 pairs of shorts. (In second photo, I pulled these shorts to front to show underneath.) I love the silky Eagle Creek packing cubes and in those small cubes packed my socks, undergarments, and scrunchies. In my underseater, but not shown, was a mini umbrella, shampoo and conditioner, meds, jewelry, and other necessities. Also not shown was a toiletry case that I laid on top of the little packing cubes. Simply perfect for me! Added one more photo of one of our other packed underseaters as well.
