The media could not be loaded. So I own about 40 or so knives. From Buck to Benchmade and every other odd end knife. When this popped up I was immediately drawn to it. I have been wanting a really good upswept blade. Scimitar style almost. Being red was just the cherry on top. So 120 after tax ... was hoping I didn’t make a mistake as I didn’t know much about we knives co. After doing a little research and seeing how well respected they were I felt a little more confident.Got it in the mail yesterday. First impression ... very slender. Good for taking in to the office. Sleek, a good gentleman’s knife. The D2 blade seems to be of a much higher quality than my other D2 blades. Probably due to their heat treatment process. The jimping is just a shade smaller than I would have wanted but still great to have on there. The choil works great with my “piano” fingers. Might be a little small for some. Finger guard is excellent. Razor sharp out of the package. If anyone has a ken onion leek knife it is around that type of razor blade edge. Clip is a little tough, but will break in after some use. Centering is perfect. The blade will fall down on its own after the lock is disengaged, reminiscent of a lot of high end knives. Very impressed. I rotate between EDC knives but this is my new favorite and will find more time with me than a lot of others. Not a survival knife ... but folders rarely are. Who wants to baton with their high end folders. Get a fixed blade for that.Very impressive. Came with a pouch with extra goodies.

I really like this knife a lot. it came shaving razor sharp, and very well made it is a WE. Knife so i wouldn't expect anything less.Now all that being said if you have big ham hands this knife may not work for you do to its build. It is built to be a gentleman knife and althought it is made top notch it is a very thin profile built knife and fat fingers may find it a bit tough to manipulate when one hand closing it. There is a possible potential to be finger Guillotine if your not paying attention when closing this razor of a knife thats the only con i see in this knife so far other than that this knife is awesome and a keeper for sure i would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a sweet very light and strong thin construction of a knife .it also can be purchased with m390 stainless steal blade, but that will also be built with much higher end materials and more than double the price on this variant of the 704x knife !! I am sure it would also be well worth the money cant go wrong with any WE knife bare none!

Great feeling just to hold. Opens with ease. Closes with ease. Very sharp out of the box. Love the "scimitar" shape of the blade. Seems very sturdy but have not had it long enough to verify. Price is a little on the higher end but you do get a great product.

This is a very nice knife very well made so why didn't they put a quality clip on it. I will never know. I have already bent the clip once and had to straighten it out and remount it on the knife it's a piece of crap the knife is good one

First of its a WE knife so that in itself says it all. WE make some of thee best production knifes on the market I know because I have about twenty of them and they start out at $250 and up so the fact that your getting a WE knife for a little over $100.00 is a great value and yes it is worth every red cent. The only thing that I would say sets it apart from the rest of the WE Knifes is It’s a little heavy for its size but not bad at all. That just makes it harder to break in every day tasks and the Detent is a little weak I’d give it a 5 out of 10 but again not bad at all. I put a little knife oil on mine and opened it about 100 to 150 times the first night and it is breaking in just fine but again to get a WE Knife for this price is amazing because even on this one the fit and finish is fantastic it came shave you sharp out of the box and it looks great I went with the blue. It’s a great EDC knife and at $109 you don’t have to worry about destroying it. I have quite a few $300 and $350 + WE knifes and they are kept in my personal collection and I do play with a lot but don’t really cut much because of the price and want to keep in good shape Incase of resale. This one however is a perfect candidate for EDC I give it 5 stars because of the price looks action and overall knife it’s a fantastic deal I would highly recommend it to anyone if your just starting out collecting knifes and want a WE but don’t want to spend $300 and if your a long time collector and just want to have a WE knife that you don’t mind using on every day cutting chores this one is perfect and that’s where the weight will actually help you because it’s not a flimsy knife that will break easily. Great buy. Just order one before there gone. You won’t regrets it.
