Really pleased with the efficient delivery of this product, which was at a very competitive price.

Thought I’d try this as an alternative to PVA for plastering after seeing a video recommending it. As advised applied it neat and it worked a treat. I like the idea that it’s not water soluble once dry, so it’s good for any areas that might be prone to dampness. Don’t know how this compares to other brands of SBR as I usually use PVA but happy with this one, good consistency, application and bonds well with one light thin coat and it goes far. Would recommend but with one mountainous proviso, once you manage to open the thing pour the contents into a different container because that lid is an absolute pig of a thing to open and will frustrate you to anger. I’m not a fan of child proof lids for adults but this push down and turn fifty times before it opens is next level nonsense.On the basis of it’s what’s inside that counts full marks but if I was writing this while trying to get the thing open it would be something expletively nearer a zero. That said and on balance, if you can swap the contents into a different container then it’s pretty dammed good – with just one star off overall for the crazy lid.

Great product at great price. I mixed it 8 to 1 as an additive in mortar with perlite aggregate and glass fibres to make a strong lightweight mortar coating for a large hollow statue. Great result.

I've purchased number of these 16 to 18 tubs, very good for bonding used to repair old boundary wall had massive cracks everywhere due to water ingress over years, also damage caused by neighbour which had to repair on both sides, the wall is also acting as a retaining wall (rear garden). Also used for coating on rebar then immediate bond with the mix.No water used only this SBR product added to mix concrete which sets in 20/30mins.Also made water proofer coat using this stuff with plain cement, when dries leaves like rubberised light grey finish.

Did the job and no issues , easy to apply

Used this to make a slurry with cement to lay porcelain pavers on cement bed. Seems to work had trouble getting a few up to re-lay . I’m not a professional. Seemed like a good price
