I have just used this tool to remove very old grout from a kitchen floor 16' x 12'. Spacing between the tiles ranges from 3mm to 6mm as a result of an idiot tile layer not using spacers. Also a lot of lipping. This tool has ripped grout out to a depth of 5/6 mm. For bigger gaps, I used longer screws and three blades. So, anyone who says it doesn't remove grout is talking tripe. Or maybe has Olive Oyl muscles. Because the one thing it does need is elbow grease. I have tried a couple of electric removal methods these failed because of the inconsistent width of gaps and very messy. What also surprised me was how sturdy the handles were. If used properly and with a little bit of effort, this tool will do the job perfectly. Also cheap enough given it actually works.

Good product and value for money

This tool helped me clean out the grouting on my bathroom floor tiles. Worked very well. Very easy to use and so cheap for such efficiency!

Used to remove some of the old grout in the bathroom so I can refresh it. Easy to use and great value with the spare blades. Cleans between the tiles well and then I used a small brush on a drill just to get the last of the grout off the tile edges. Was surprised how quick it was to clean the old grout which had discoloured over the years. Fresh grout always makes tiles look better.

Wow do not expect this job to be easy. Spent an age trying to take the grout out from my floor tiles with these.They are very helpful but it is hard work and if your not careful the tool will damage your tiles. It does remove grout, so for a small area go for it.I have quite a big area an found I'd suffer with cramp in my hand after sometime.

Brilliant...wasn’t convinced these would work or that they’d be uncomfortable to use as other brands advertised “comfort grip” and soft handles. You don’t need one. I did a full wall of mosaic tiles with this and it worked a treat.

Fab little tool. Friend suggested I get this to clean out the old grout between the tiles in the shower before I put on new grout. It worked a treat and was worth every penny.
