Perfect jerky texture and flavor
Perfect for me! I like it thin and a little tough. Thought it snaps like jerky, it is flavorful and moist enough to not seem stale. Not too fatty either

Might be my new favorite, almost cowboy dry and thin cut, good balance of salt and flavor.
I eat and sample a lot of jerky, most of it is junk. Too soft generic garbage seems to be the common formula for most. I mean Jack Links?! That stuff is closer to a dog treat than something a person should consider a meat snack, certainly not eatable. I definitely also have a preference towards cowboy dry versus all this wet soft stuff. What makes this Oh Boy Oberto so good? Super thin cut and not chewy soft, but also not so dry it turns into dust. The thin slices mean you can down these at breakneck speed without getting a toothache. Not quite dry dusty cowboy dry, but just enough you could carry a bag off into the sunset and feel worthy. Wholesome and hardy, the way it should be. Not overly salty, not too bland. The peppered isn't really hot, but has a nice flavor with a bit more zing versus the original. Pricing is decent as most jerky prices have nearly doubled over the years. Delicious.

Fresh & tasty
Arrived in a timely matter, would've gave this a 5 star rating...but there was hardly any black pepper on the jerky. It is fresh and tasty, wished had more black pepper.

Delicious Beef Jerky
The best peppered beef jerky I can find. Been a favorite of mine since I was a kid. Just wish it was cheaper so I could order more often!!

NOT THIN AT ALL, JUST STICKY AND CHEWY.
The only reason I purchase this product is for the "thin" discription. This product is advertised as thin but it is only an amalgam of chewy sticky pieces. Something like scrap pieces that did not make it to packaging were collected and package in these bags. This stuff is expensive. The only reason why I purchase it is for the dryer thin texture. I purchased this item once before with the same results. Shame on me.

Rich man’s treat
I have enjoyed this beef jerky treat since I was a kid. I love the thin texture and pepper taste however, $42 for eight 1.2 ounce packages is too rich for my blood.
