This is a very nice, well-made cable management box. In my search for one, about 95% of them are either wooden or plastic. This was a rare one I found made of real leather, lined with felt so it's super soft, with nice stitching. Came well-packaged. It looks very chic, like a fancy accessory to the desk instead of just a plain wooden/plastic box.

The box looks amazing! BUY IT! WORTH IT! Buy more than 1 if you have more than one area that needs cable covers.Nice finish, looks more expensive than it is. Perfect and fit all my cables in the box ... it looked awful 😖 before...I also bought a plastic cable cover that hangs down from the tv. We can't put the cables behind the wall :( plus the TV cable is REALLY SHORT so it didn't even reach the outlet. I wish I had done this sooner! I also never write reviews but I'm so happy with this little box I wish I had another area to put this in hahahaha too bad I don't. I would definitely buy more.

I have two routers that I thought would fit under but neither does. l should have checked measurements though on line this does not tell height which is about 5 inches. One is a tall nighhawk, about 12 inches, the other is a fairly standard router from earthlink, which is about 7 inches tall.In short, it you intend to put a router under one, it will be impossible. You can store cords without much difficulty. Careful of the measurements if you want to hide a router..

As a cat momma for 5 years, I became very exasperated at having so many cords open for nibbling on my bed side table, yet did not wish to relocate them. This storage unit became ideal for me to not only raise my power strip off the floor for easy access, but became a great place to charge my Fitbit and MPaws blue tooth headset without having to worry about my cat chewing on the cords. They easily tuck under the lid without overcrowding. The opening on the long side also made it easier to still plug in my clock and have it face my bed--another cord saved! As advertised, this is also best for phones due to the hole in the lid. It was very easy to string my charging cord up through it, and because the cord is long, I can pick up the phone without having to unplug it, then carefully push it back under the lid without disturbing it. My one critique is that the plastic ring around the top hole frequently becomes dislodged and is not secure to the lid. I might have to hot glue it one day, but it is a minor inconvenience and easy to push back in for best cord guidance and lid liner preservation.

These are great for cleaning up the wiring mess that sometimes is near your lounge chairs and couches. Super easy to use, well built and attractive.

As the amount of the items getting plugged in on my side of the bed increased, so did the unattractive mess of cords that came with it! I also have small children who like to tug and pull on them and simply kicking it all further under the bed was not helping at all. I can't even remember what motivated me to find a product like this, but I was very pleased to find this organizer! The feaux-leather is very sleek and blends well with the "theme" that is my simple nightstand, but I particularly LOVE that the lid to the organizer box is meant to be an additional storage type of tray. I'm able to save some real estate by having my clock and baby monitor on top--which with or without this organizer box would NEED to be on the night stand anyway. Two birds, one stone! Awesome. As you can see in the picture I included, there is a lot of cords being hidden away. It also has a round hole at the back and deep U-shaped holes on both ends to allow necessary cables to exit. I'm very pleased with this purchase and since it won't experience a lot of handling, I expect it will last quite some time!

I just received this today and it appears as though it will do the job it was designed for. I might rewrite (and rescore) this review later after I actually set it up and use it, but for now I want to give a 'heads up' hint for using this.On one of the long walls there is an elastic that is just large enough to hold a power strip against the inside middle of the long side wall - not blatantly advertised that I could see. I believe I will use the elastic when I do set it up so that the strip is not fully buried (covered) by the spaghetti mess of wires.On a more important note, I would recommend that a non-black (white) power strip be used with the box. My black power strip appears 'featureless' within the black (velvet?) lining of the box (ie, the outlet prong holes of the black power strip are 'lost' visually within the black box. I highly suggest using a lighter colored (white?) power strip within the box so that the various prong holes can easily be visualized when setting plugs into the power strip.

I had a mess of cables for charging all my devices on the kitchen desk. This box allows the items being charged to be on the top of the box with a short cable connection from inside the cox where the cable connects to AC. This cleaned up my whole desk. Love this box!
