Thoughtlessly put together
So the editing, videography, lighting, directing, set design, script and about two thirds of the acting was all just terrible. This is extremely low budget, they didn't even spring for extras in most of the scenes so most of the film was extreme close ups on the actors faces as they described what was going on around them.We sat through this whole thing because we're in quarantine and a bit bored and all the extreme close ups kept our toddler entertained enough for us to have a family movie night. The positive reviews on this were either paid for or put up by friends. The reason it has two stars instead of one is because there was this one scene where the young musician was sitting in the back of the car, and the editing cuts back and forth between the two actors in the front were badly spliced with what was going on in the back seat, and it was absolutely hilarious. The young musician was making the weirdest facial expressions. His face combined with the terrible editing combined with the absolute banality of the script made us laugh so hard we cried, which made our toddler laugh. So two stars instead of one.

Cute film, great road trip story for all generations
Nice to see a film about people at different stages of life and the various struggles and dreams. Always nice to see a good road trip film too. Bonus to see Chris Mulkey (make sure to watch the credits for a bonus!). Really enjoyable film.

A Lovely Journey with Charismatic Actors
This was a very nice, escapist movie. It definitely did not shy away from any harsh topics. Instead, finding positive ways to overcome the struggles of growing up and growing apart. Take a journey with these characters

Would not recommend
Ametuer videography. The storyline was good enough but the scene to scene videography looked fake.

Cute Lifetime style dramedy
Cute little indie dramedy. Very enjoyable light hearted fare with a positive message. If you're a fan of Lifetime Movies genre offerings it's well worth checking out
