A great robot to build
Bought as a gift for 13year old boy, kept him occupied until he finished, the robot works well. A great toy and a good value for money.

Shame it just misses out on a being a five star toy
This is a construction toy that has such potential. The pieces fit snugly together but they not quite as sturdy as I would have hoped. The instructions are clear and well laid out in a colour coded manner. You can potentially make two different robots but not at the same time as the same pieces are needed for both. This is quite a challenging kit and would really appeal to the child who enjoys complex lego kits. It certainly helps develop creative thinking and problem-solving. I started to build this with my six-year-old grandson who likes lego with help from an adult. He found it too tricky and lost interest. I feel this is more for a child of ten plus and one who enjoys building construction kits as children do have different interests and levels of ability for activities like this. My husband finished it in the end and it was quite impressive. It is quite a complex piece of kit with engineering and electronics and mechanics experience while building. It was however a robot that needed careful handling as it was not that robust which was a shame. The problem with kits like these is that when complete they need to be handled carefully and when broken up they need to be packed away with instructions otherwise they are useless after the first build! My older grandson aged 15 and 17 would have enjoyed this kit at the age of 10 and 12 as I remember them building complex models with lego at that age.I have put this kit away again and saving it for when grandson is a bit older!

Inventive, educational and fun
All children love robots and there so many available on the market right now, offering different features and attractions. This robot by PETLUVER is somewhat different, in that it is educational and challenging to your child’s development, since you have to patiently assemble it first before you get to operate it.The kit comes with over 600 separate Lego-like pieces which you have to put together, along with a rechargeable battery pack (which is charged via a USB connection) and a motor that drives the various movements possible by the robot. Obviously, it needs a smooth surface on which to maneuver. And it is possible to make two different robot styles, but not at the same time. The instructions on how to do this are very good, with colored-coded guidance. The box says the robot is for children six and over, although that could be a bit young and some children of that age might simply not have the patience to construct it. That’s where dad or an older sibling might come in, I suppose. But for the right age, this robot is great fun and will bring many hours of entertainment. Once it is assembled, the solid remote control takes over to move the robot forwards, backwards and sideways. Also capable of moving is its head, its arms and elbows, its mouth will open and close, the eyes will revolve and even the eyebrows will move. Neat features. The robot is competitively priced for what you get and the quality of the pieces appears good. Whether the parts will be robust enough to stand the test of time, one will have to wait and see. But for entertainment value and the challenge of constructing your own robot, it is worth five stars. Thanks for reading my review. I hope you found it helpful.

Great Quality - Fits Together Perfectly
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This is a a good quality building set, that makes two different models. Please note that they cannot be made together they share the pieces. The first thing that comes to mind is that it’s a cheap copy of Lego. Therefor will be pretty much useless. I have indeed purchased other copies of Lego, and yes they were woeful and the bricks wouldn’t stay together. This is set isn’t Lego, BUT it comes vey close to it in my opinion. The models assemble following a colour builders guide. All the pieces are precisely made, and fit together extremely well. The wireless remote control takes 2 AA batteries (not supplied). The receiver unit is fitted with an internal rechargeable battery. This charges via a supplied micro USB cable. The two parts paired immediately once switched on. The two models are really fun to build and operate.I must point out a few things from the product description. The arms, hands, eyes etc can move but NOT via the remote. You move and position by hand. The robot doesn’t require any coding, in fact you cannot do any coding.Overall for the purchase price £38.99 (at time of writing) it’s well worth purchasing. It’s definitely on par with Lego in my opinion. The only difference is in the price, I’m guessing the Lego equivalent would be over £100.00FIVE STARS ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Brilliant 👏
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. So never had lego like this before, just spent best part of 3hours putting it all together, Instructions where very well structured and layer out making it easy to put together 😁 got this for my son for Xmas but thought id build it so he can play with it! I found it to have two pieces missing though however these pieces where just finishing touches so no effect to the actual functioning of the lego robot! The main supplier comes with a charger cable but the multi function remote take two AA batteriesHighly recommended so much fun to be had and very good quality lego
