Susan Weinschenk should be required reading FOR ALL product managers... new and experienced......
This book like all her other books is incredibly detailed and explanatory. You really do expand your ranges of what you can do in creative product formulation after reading this. Do it. Its like a second eye opening education. All her books are great. Even if they are getting a bit old in the tooth, they are excellent insights on to that one thing that doesn't change - human behavior. Recommended for all entrepreneurs, educators and product managers out there.

Critical thinking
In many ways, this is a deeper insight into 100 Things Every Designer Needs to Know. It is very interesting information, but I have seen her findings corrupt design reviews. If this book is interpreted as quantitative data, it should not be mis-interpreted as qualitative data (most useful).Consider every variable and think scientifically.

Design Practices Based on Brain Science; Helpful for Newbies and Seasoned Professionals
Dr. Weinschenk really knows her stuff. I've been a fan since I started working as a UX designer/researcher about 15+ years ago. This series is SO easy to browse. Great insights and reminders for even seasoned practitioners, but if you're new to user-centered design it's still very easy to follow. I find myself going through her books again when I'm on a new project because it helps me generate ideas. In addition, I persuade clients to adopt better design practices based on the brain science referenced in her books. Thanks, Dr. Weinschenk!

Permanently on my desk library.
If you're a designer or work with designers, you need to get this book and the previous one in the series.

Okay, not great -- loses steam -- prefer the 1st one
The author does a decent but not wonderful follow up to her popular, well written 100 Things book. You get the sense that she loses steam, especially at the end when the tips perceptibly go from many pages to just half a page. The insights are still well researched and backed by data.

Well explained but no grouping of subjects into learn-able chunks
Every point in this book is convincingly proved and clear to follow. The reason I cant give it five is that the chapters are extremely short, which makes it more of an academic book than an easy to read, guide.
