Tangle Wood - Large Format Edition: A captivating colouring book with hidden jewels

Such a pity about the endaper.
I chose the larger format version which is currently a lot more costly. The illustrations are lovely, a bit different from the tweeness of florals (I have flower colouring overload). As others have said, the paper used for these books is weird, almost like baking parchment, and the images appear ever so slightly fuzzy. I'm not totally sure how colourable they are but obviously there is no way to figure this out other than actually trying to colour them, which I was looking forward to doing. So, all was okay until I reached the end of the book. At which point there is a hideous great full page advertisment for the publishers other products. Fine, I think, I'll just rip it out. Except that there is a beautifully illustrated end paper on the reverse. So, note to publishers, note to artist : when paying for a colouring book I do not wish to see a full page, brightly coloured advertisment on the reverse of a colouring page. If you must advertise your products then at least make the page removable. These books are being returned for this reason, I would otherwise have kept them.

Not My Thing
Lovely cover and decent paper but most of the images don’t appeal to me.

Paper quality works with pro artist pencils/pens.
Too busy for me. But awesome on bigger less fussy parts. But I love the papers feel it’s amazing with Sakura and polychromos.
