Full bodied and great taste
Not a wine connoisseur by any stretch of the imagination but I do know what I like. As has been mentioned by many other reviews the premise of 19 Crimes revolves around the criminals who were sent to Australia as punishment. The labels reflect this as do the corks....Great advertising techniques but the proof of the pudding is in the eating....or rather in this case the quaffing. This is a very red wine...forget the "nice drop" from asda or the echo falls stuff (both of which I also enjoy) this is a whole different beast. This is to be enjoyed with a nice meal and time to reflect on life, other wines can easily be enjoyed with a cracker and some cheese... It's full bodied indeed...the aforementioned wines have a body akin to skimmed milk and this is like double cream. It's a glorious potion and highly recommended, if like me you are edging close to 60 being the new 20 then a day or two recuperation will be in order of you accidentally overdo it. May I suggest this as a Friday evening attempt to lower blood pressure.

A very smooth, full bodied red.
I didn't necessarily have high hopes for this wine. It's labelled simply as 'red wine', which doesn't immediately smack of quality. However, I was pleasantly surprised. It's a very well balanced, full fruity taste. Made from a mix of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache grapes. At 14.5% proof it packs a considerable punch. Perfect with roast beef or a lamb dish, or even drunk as a Port substitute, with a robust cheese. I bought it on a whim, but I would happily buy again. Not the most subtle of wines, but easy to drink and full of fruit. I hope you found this review helpful.

Great taste at low price
I'm not a wine conesiour but comparing more expensive red wine for around £15 to this one I prefer Crimes. It's really good and don't see a point of spending more. Various types of Crimes always taste good, so this is my favourite brand.

Seriously good!!
If you like full bodied fruity wine that's slightly different because of spending time in rum barrels... this is for you. It's unfortunately very, very drinkable. To find it at a cracking price on Black Friday was a real treat. Just a shame you could only buy 3 bottles on this deal at the time. Really good with cheese, chocolate, cherries, plums.... a good venison stew. In fact never mind a glass... just pass me a straw!
