NTI Backup Now EZ 4

It trashed my system. I lost everything and had to do a new reload.Since I didn't have a backup, I was in bad shape. It destroyed the MBR.

Returned for refund; instructions were just too complex for me. I am not a novice, but still got bogged down trying to run it.

This backup is a good alternative to the outrageously priced other backups out there -- it does, however, have its peculiarities -- mostly these have to do with its clunky, non-intuitive input screen -- it does offer a variety of options for backup, but you have spend time with it to understand its intricacies -- it is fast and you have to credit NTI for producing products that don't break the bank.

I had a question about item 2 and it was promptly answered.PS I could not get the install of a new purchase to accept the serial number, using a stand alone computer. After I temporarily connected the computer to the internet, the program installed just fine and worked as expected, even with the internet disconnected. I didn't see any requirement on the NTI web site on the product package for internet connection.

Useless to me. Not enough information given on GUI interface.

Terrible user interface.There are alternatives (at zero or very low cost) (like PureSync) which are far better than this software.I tried this and promptly uninstalled it. Don't bother to even install it.

It works OK, about the same as similar products.

I have been using NTI backup EZ for several years to backup my PC's. It is easy to use and gives you the options of selective contents backup, full backup, online storage. I used it to restore my hard drive after some updates went bad and made my PC unstable. The restore point feature of Windows 7 did not fix the problem. PS remember to full backup frequently. Good insurance. Nice product.
