Since I am using a normal 5/8 hose to hook up Rain Bird Impulse Sprinklers, I needed something that would help keep the hoses down and out of the way. I have some rocky areas that thinner staples bend and snap easily. I did not have that issue with these. Since this set came with so many, I also will be using them for staples to hold down my landscape fabric when I redo that area. Home improvement stores seller thinner staples for a lot more money and less quantity. These are way better in terms of durability and price. Highly recommend. Review: I've been using these for about 3 weeks and they are excellent. Larger in diameter - I first got a bag of shorter steel staples from ACE. Those rusted immediately. I've been using these for about 3 weeks and they are excellent. Larger in diameter, solid, pointed at the end to enable to stick them in the ground with more ease. They're are long enough to hold down my burlap over seedlings easily. I barely stick these staples into the ground and they hold well. I'm toying with an idea. I'm getting a bad mole problem and i'm going to pound these staples into the mounds and uplifted tunnels. I don't know if they will help but can't hurt anything. These gems don't look like they'll rust. I use them to hold burlap and plastic over grass seeds i'm laying out.

These staples are great!
These are so much better than the garden staples I've purchased at local stores. I am so happy I ordered them. They don't rust after two or three seasons and need to be replaced. They are twice as long so they don't keep popping out of the ground. They are sturdy and don't bend easily so I can pound them in with a mallet if I have to. The ends are pretty sharp, so they go into the ground easily. I'm sold. I'll be ordering more.

Great product - highly recommend
We have used drip water for our yard for a number of years. We used the "sheep hook" stakes from Lowe's in the past as they were the only ones we tried that actually held the small hoses down. This work GREAT and are just heavy enough to put some pressure on the drip lines so that they remain 1-2" below the ground like we want. I'm ordering another package as we have used most of the first one.

So glad I purchased these Landscape Staples
I bought 1 bag of the Landscape Staples, for keeping soaker hoses in place in a newly planted shrub and perennial border. They seem very sturdy and I like the curve as they do not crush the soaker hose. I think the square top of other landscape staples would be fine for landscape fabric not hoses. I ordered 4 more bags as i did not have enough to complete the project.. Have 1 bag left but will keep for the future. The staples have been in the ground since the middle of September with mulch blown in over the hoses. Everything is fine and just checked, they are still shiny but i do expect them to rust by spring (If this does not happen I will update my post.).

Very good staples and reasonably priced!
Expensive and well worthy the $. These are the absolute best staples I've ever had with long, strong and rounded tops to fit over hoses and not tend to flatten soaker hoses, etc. Do not buy thin 4" staples...they are a frustrating, cheap, useless waste $ and don't downgrade the quality of these staples because you have a soil problem...our Aroostook soil has so many rocks that we have trouble inserting even huge spikes.

High quality, perfect for drip irrigation systems
We recently installed two RainBird drip irrigation systems, one in our yard and one in a family member's yard. We used a mix of these landscape staples and the RainBird brand staples to hold the tubing in place. These staples were identical in size, shape and quality to the RB staples but cost about 5x less. I would highly recommend these staples for a drip irrigation project and plan to buy more when we expand our system this fall.

Update - No Rust after 8 weeks watering daily
Seems to be a great product. Easy to adjust size by simply straightening and re-bending in a little wider configuration to fit flat mister hose. Jury is out on rust resistance but I am hopeful. Notice photos - original old staples - rusted; new showing as received and adjusted for wider application and "in action" with wider mister hose (see rust from old staple to left of staple) - looking forward to positive results after a couple weeks of misting and beyond. All Above still applies - no rust after 8 weeks of daily watering - These things are great! Two photos added
