Junk
I can’t believe this cost as much as it did. This is basically a very cheap fan that holds a bit of cold water below for some unknown purpose. The cold water had absolutely no effect on the temperature of the air that the fan pushed out. I bought a better quality stroller fan for $15 that cools more effectively. This “air conditioner” is an absolute joke. I will say that I live in Southern California, and the high today in my hometown is 117 degrees (14% humidity) so perhaps I have high expectations for my cooling devices.

Perfect small personal AC
I just go mine yesterday. It’s small but it has a lot of power. It’s a personal AC, it will not cool a whole room. I mainly got it for my husband because he runs hot. He loved it. We left it on all night and we both slept well. I put water and ice in it. You can feel the cold air and mist. I recommend it. We set it on our tv stand. We both share it.

Not a rip off, just depends on your purpose for it.
It's okay, for a very small space. Or just directly pointing at yourself. Was trying to use this fan in conjunction to help move around my carnivores plants, but to no effect. Oh and the water feature, meh. Maybe latest an hour.

DOES THE JOB!
This little thing really gets the job done. I'm using it in a small room that gets very hot (New York Summer, upstairs apartment, kinda hot!).The AC doesn't get to this room at all, it's kind of part of the outside hallway. It's a family member's guest room I'm staying in and ended up having to stay longer than anticipated. So the hotter it got, the more unbearable it became. Sleeping was impossible.I have it placed just at bed level, at the head of the bed, and have a fan across from it, at the foot of the bed and it keeps that little area cool. When the water runs out though, and it's just a fan, the temp raises quickly. So that's further confirmation of just how good it is. That said, the fan does a good job on it's own when it's not super hot. When I go to the bathroom and come back through the hallway and into the room, it's literally a sauna. SO HOT AND STICKY. I think this is inhumane. But then when I get back to area this unit is in, it's a whole different story. When it's really hot, ice-cold water makes a difference. So I freeze two bottles and keep one in a little cooler next to the bed to defrost slowly throughout the night, and one outside of the cooler to use the first half of the night. Between the two, it gets me through a hot night. I am waking up a lot, though, so yea, if I lived here permanently, I would obviously get an A/C. I'm giving you this extreme situation so you can gage its efficiency against your own needs. Hope it helps. If you're not sleeping in such a hot environment, this is an extreme step. I've found it to be a necessary solution for my situation. Otherwise, room temp gets it done, too.My only complaints are that because it's ALL black, including the filling compartment, you can't see when it's full, so I end up overfilling it unless I put my finger at the top so I can feel it. When I'm having to this in the every few hours in the while "sleeping" that is frustrating. If you overfill it, it will leak all over. I had puddles the first few days until I realized this. That's a design flaw. There looks to be a front compartment for adding water as well. But it really doens't give you any idnactoer at all so overfilling was inevaable. I just stopped using it altogeher. Perhaps I'm missing something. It didn't come with any instrucinos at all.All and all, it does what yo uwant it to do, and does it well.

Inconsistent quality??
Bought one of these things to help keep me cool through the summer. Smaller than I thought it would be but seemed to work just fine for what I needed.Decided to order another one so that I could have one for my desk and one for the bedroom. However after receiving and using the second one for about a week or two it has started leaking water like crazy. I decided that's fine and I would just use it as a (rather expensive) small fan without the water/cooling feature. Approximately one more week later and the thing wont even turn on at all. Should have just stuck with one I always have bad luck when ordering multiples of an amazon product unfortunately. Now I have only one fan for the price of two. Very disappointing.

Great, if you want to burn your house down.
I bought two of these for office work spaces. Both had the same exact problems, so this can't be an isolated issue.First, the fans are EXTREMELY loud on even the lowest setting, do not expect to use this on a desk and be able to hear someone on the phone at the same time. Considering the fans are extremely cheap computer fans, there is a good chance they were defective right out of the gate.Second, the power supplies have heavy ground loop feedback. What does this mean for an electrical box filled with water? It means you are one static shock away from an electrical short and fire. Finally, the $65 "Retail" price is absurd. From the cheap fans, to the cheap plastic housing, to cheap misaligned LED's, there can't be more that $4-$6 worth of material here. If this was listed for $19.99, I would say you probably got your money's worth. But at $65 or even the $44 "discount" price it is now, it's a complete ripoff.Don't be fooled by the paid reviews, save your money and look elsewhere.

Versatile, indoor outdoor great use, easy to use control panel.
So impressive!!! Cools quickly and lasts for hours. Compared to others that do not force cool air out rapidly. Nice easy control panel.Wish it was a bit more sturdy, but does not affect the quality of item. Also could have a handle, sometimes it leaks when carrying. This has cooled the living area of our RV, and I used it outside while gardening, it was a lifesaver in FL heat !! I added some essential oils and repelled insects also!!Very happy with our purchase.

Only suitable for small spaces. (On night stand or on an office desk.)
For the price, I wouldn't necessarily say it's worth it. It is only good for small spaces where the air only hits you. When putting ice in it, it does blast out cool air. But I wouldn't say this product cools down an entire room or more than one person at the same time.
