Excellent
Easy to assemble, love the display that tracks distance, heart rate, speed, and calories. The seat is very narrow and causes discomfort, had to purchas a seat cover with extra padding. The resistance controls works great. Exceeds expectations for such a low price.

Easy Assembly. Works as intended.
As some other reviewers said, the seat isn’t the best. But the bike was easy for me to assemble. I lost one of the screws for the monitor I think? Whoops 😂 but it works fine still. No issues that I’ve noticed from not putting the bolts back in.Tension setting DOES work. I saw a review that said it didn’t, but they probably don’t know how to use it. The tension is backwards. 8 Is lowest and 1 is highest tension/resistance. I was confused at first too. It was a lot easier for me after switching to 8. I wouldn’t recommend this for seniors, but for average people it’s great! I got a seat cushion to help a bit since the seat is a tiny bit uncomfortable. It works wonders.I also wouldn’t recommend using barefoot since the pedals are kind of.. textured. But it doesn’t hurt that much if you do. (I hate wearing shoes so I most likely will always use it barefoot.) Overall, 5 stars for ease of assembly and low price point. Does what it says, not noisy/very quiet during “rides” so far. I don’t care about the other options too much since I don’t understand what it is (pulse) but the timer and calorie counter works which is all I ask for.Great product!

Very good value for the money, but you will HAVE to buy an extra seat
The assembly is not easy, not hard. However, the instrument is sturdy, and surprisingly good for the money. The only caviat is that the seat is very hard and really uncomfortable. I bought a foam seat cover, and it works now fine.

9/10 for an exercise bike
This bike is fantastic, I highly recommend it. I’m 5’7” and around I can easily stand and ride when I’m doing apple fitness bicycle workouts. The ability to change resistance is easy to use too. It’s super compact and fits in a small corner of my room.I was worried that the handlebars were at a really strange upward angle, but they are actually very comfy even when using for 30mins+The operation is very quiet, so can use it at night when my kids are sleeping or folks in downstairs rooms are not disturbed whatsoever. The build quality is sound and the unit that displays pace, distance, time, pulse etc is very robust. It hold my iPhone securely without me having to panic about it flying off mid cycle!!I was able to put this together myself in about half an hour. The instructions are easy to follow, although make sure you get the electonic clips hooked together the right way (the images are a bit small to see the littlest connecting clip).Defo a 9/10 for me on this. Only downside was the seat was a little hard, but was easily remedied by buying a cheap gel seat cover for about $5.

Difficult to assemble, uncomfortable ride.
This was very difficult to assemble. There is a connection that needs to be made down the inside of the pipe leading from the tension knob to a second tension cable. These two cables need to be connected. There is a lack of slack in one of the lines to connect them. I had to disassemble and try again because at first assembly, the tension, which needs to be set at it's highest level (8), did not change when I moved the dial. After the second attempt, I managed to gain some drag and the tension knob works, but it feels like the change in tension from the lightest point (1), to the next point (2) goes up to where 8 seems to be. The lowest setting (1) is very heavy. It is clear that this is NOT the lowest setting. I cannot ride this thing for more than 2 minutes, and I ride a bike outdoors + stationary bikes in the gym with higher tension than this setting with more comfort. It is clear to me that something is off. There is also a knocking sound coming from inside the wheel's frame. This is not a good bike. Even worse, customer support has not done anything to fix this situation. I contacted them 4 days ago and got an auto-reply with a link to their website to information I already have in my instruction manual. No breathing, living human being has bothered to reply. This is a terrible bike. There isn't much I have to say positively about the company, either.

Good and Bad
I was really torn on how to write this review. On the one hand the bike itself is well made and definitely a value at the price. On the other hand I have spent the good part of a day and a half trying to get it assembled. Mainly because of poor instructions. The wiring for the small monitor is a nightmare. No direction at all on how or where to connect it. If you accidently allow one of the wires to fall down one of the tubes, as I did, get ready for some real fun and entertainment. "Not". I am having trouble getting the pedals screwed on, mainly because I don't really trust that they know right from left so I don't want to tighten them too much until I'm sure I am trurning them the right way.I also am now left with 4 wires at the monitor and I have no idea which plugs into which, or where. I have placed a call to Xterra customer service. They are supposed to return my call, but so far they haven't.I am hoping my patience holds up tomorrow and I am able to finish the assembly, but from my experience the last two days I wouldn't bet on it. So make your own decision on whether to purchase it or not. Parts of it are very good, and parts of it are very bad.

Great sturdy indoor bike
It’s a great bike at this price. I enjoy my daily workout with this. Seat is a bit stiff but overall it’s a good fit for me.

Bike Peddles Do NOT Turn Fluidly!
Waste of money. I received a defective product. The peddles do NOT turn fluidly. You have to use great force to turn them. The tension dial is useless. It's the same tension on any setting.I wanted to do an exchange for the same bike but they are not giving me that option. I could exchange for another product but not the exact bike. I got a great price on this that's why I bought it in the first place.I will likely return for a full refund but would rather have a replacement. I tried contacting the company via email but that was useless. I received a generic, "Your request has been received and is being reviewed by our service department." But it's been 26 days and they never got back to me.

My wife loves it
Such a simple, uncomplicated design. Setup was very easy, and my wife finds it pretty comfortable. She's only 5 feet tall, and the seat can go even lower. The one really nice thing is the wide stance of the pedals (aka the Q-factor). It's much wider than a regular bicycle, and the first time I sat on it to test it out I was amazed at how comfortable the stance is. If you've ever ridden a fatbike, you'll know what I mean. Your feet end up around shoulder width apart — like a normal standing stance. Sure it's less aero, but who cares — you're indoors!FYI the threads on the cranks are not the same size as regular bike pedals, so don't think of mounting proper clipless pedals. The included foot straps are the only option, but they're fairly wide and therefore pretty comfortable. The cranks are also fairly short — around 140mm IIRC. Great for shorter riders, but people over 5'7" might find it a bit awkward over time.

Overall, the bike is good value
Pros: 1) It's quiet. 2) For an exercise bike, it's relatively small and the ability to wheel it into and out of place is handy for small spaces. 3) The digital monitor works well (though I haven't paid much attention to the pulse rate sensors). 4) The tablet rack on the monitor is a neat feature and I was able to fit a thin, 14 inch laptop on it (though the handles are in the way of the screen just a bit).Cons: 1) May not be suitable for people over 5'7". I'm a little over 5'6" and have the seat height at it's maximum setting. 2) If you're already an experienced cycler, the maximum resistance may not provide you with enough of a challenge. 3) The seat brings the pain well ahead of the exercise. It's made of a molded, hard foam with an unusual shape. It has led to tenderness at points of contact that lingers long after an exercise session. So, if you don't intend to stand the whole time while using it, I recommend a cushioned seat cover or replacing the seat altogether.

Arrived late and defective
As I started assembling the bike I noticed the main base had a large Crack. The bike took five weeks to get here and now I have to go through the hassel of returning it. Save yourself the time and money.
